I always upload my logs. It give you more kudos in the DJI forum and better discounts on service fees. Personally I just crossed the 65 million feet flown mark.

Using the assistant is a longer way round. That’s more for updating firmwares etc. thanks 🙏
It has 3 functioms. 2 of them is down loading logs but I think your way may be much faster as the download from the RC to PC seems really slow @@nobby-green

I had not used AirData before. Recently sold my Phantom 4 Pro Plus v2.0 Falcon Edition and bought this list Mini 3 Pro ... so, I'm just now watching tutorials on everything.
Bye the bye ... do you have the DJI Care Refresh on yours? I bought it as well. I'm assuming that I should "activate" and update my drone, controller and batteries before I activate the Care Refresh. Would you agree?

Hi Chuck. Yes you can delete the flights from Airdata. But you can’t delete them from the drone. Yes I do have the care refresh and activate once all is activated. Hope this helps 👍 thanks 🙏
I have a number of questions to ask about Airdata.
I intend to subscribe to the ‘lite’ version. Do I put this on my PC or iMac computer?
I understand it can only be on two computers, but presumably can move the app from time to time.
How does one’s drone determine the windspeed at any point on its path?
I have it installed on my mac, but i would assume you can access it from any device if you sign in. As for the wind speed, you only get strong wind warnings from the controller via the drone. Hope this helps 👍
@@nobby-green my understanding is that it will give precise windspeeds at various points on one’s course, if one subscribes to one of the paid versions. I currently ignore the strong wind warnings when flying my Mavic 3 pro, simply because I am always able to RTH automatically. In those circumstances. should I even wish. I really would like to know the precise windspeed can imagine how this airdata app can determine it.
Is there not an issue with airdata app on andriod at the moment, version 13 & 14

But everything is on the cloud my controller said I can sync and use any device to retrieve using dji sign in but where is the link
You need to sign in to Airdata and sync your files. You chose to sync under profile on the controller 👍

Question; I need to send my flight data to Dji and will be using your instructions and my Windows PC. How do I select all the files and send them via email to the Dji Tech Support person that is working on my inquiry?

Hi Lou download them first to a folder or desktop then attach them to an email using the attachment tool Hope this helps 👍

No other way than one at a time? I connected RC to my Mac after installed “Android to Mac” app. (I tried clicking on “folder+” icon top right)thinking all would be transferred to a folder. That doesn’t seem to work. “Reconnect device” message. Retried and tried, Ultimately didn’t work for me.
I do have “saved to the cloud” on my RC on. Isn’t that considered satisfactory in documentation and compliance to saving keeping logs? I can see them all can replay on all my devices I have the fly app installed. Twice my RC has “storage full ”message so I’ve cleared “cache”. Are they still being saved and stored in “the cloud” ? But not really sure what or how access, or work that. I do have “auto sync to cloud” on RC. Thank you. Ted in Ohio.
You can select all by click shifting in the folder and highlighting them all. Not sure why you rc is saying storage full unless you are saving to internal storage. Try moving it to sd card instead. Hope this helps 👍 thanks 🙏

Can the same method of copying fight records from iPhone be used? I fly Mavic Air 2 using RC-N1 and iPhone 11 Pro Max and would like to use this technique to get flight records to Airdata.
There is an easier way just upload to Airdata via syncing with your dji Account. i covered this in another video.
Thanks, I did see that...........but I prefer not to share my DJI login credentials with Airdata, and really only want to upload selected flights now and then. All good stuff, keep the videos coming!
@@billmeador215 Airdata is very safe and is secure. you can however share with others. You can try and see if its possible. ive not tried it to be honest. im sure if you plug your iphone in you should be able to navigate to the folders.
Did not find a way on PC, but with my Mac desktop I was able to open a Finder window and navigate to the Flight Records folder in DJI Fly allowing me to select the ones I want to upload. Thanks!

Is this data from the generated .SRV file? What I would love, is if AirData or someone else could derive from that data at what speed the focal point was moving at, for example a car or sailboat passing by. By the GPS, gimbal angle and altitude, it should surely be easy to derive this and other rich info?
You can view the SRV info in VLC player if you have subtitles enabled.

What layer are you looking at? There are two you maybe on satellite view.

They should pop up in the folder as shown in the video

@@dominiqueperron5728I take it you downloaded the android transfer app? Sometimes it doesn’t recognise it at first so you need to plug it in again. Hope that helps

If I have an SD card in the controller, I get both drives come up in explorer but if I click in to the built in one it shows nothing. Pop the card out and reconnect and the flight data is there. Anyone else have this issue?

I just have airdata sync them from DJI automatically. No cables required.
Indeed David, as i showed in the video. Not everyone likes to upload all their data i guess.
@@nobby-green flight logs are encrypted so you can only use a DJI partner to process them via uploading them to a DJI partner. If you don’t want to upload them you can delete them before syncing the controller.

I have the DJI RC2 controller and a DJI Mini 4 Pro. I don't have an sdcard in the RC2 (just using internal shared storage)
Controller shows up as a drive called "KATMAI IDP SN:########" (where ######## is an 8 digit hexadeciman number)
Click on internal storage, and I have the usual Android folders ... Alarms, Android, Audiobooks, DCIM, Documents, Download, Dpad... etc
No sign of any flight records anywhere. Most of the folders are empty or just have the basic config files.
Am I just being an idiot... or am I being cursed by a witch or warlock ? LOL

Hey Warlock 😉 no not at all. If you plug your controller into a pc or Mac the flight data should appear on screen. Another way is to sync your files to AirData and view/download from there. Hope this helps 👍
Unless you know different, I don't think Android File Transfer for Mac works with the new RC2 controller running the latest version of Android.
