The spheres are a type of xenos which use technology powered by the warp, they're from old forgotten lore, they basically enslave the minds of other races. What we were witnessing was a regiment of imperial guard who were enslaved to do the bidding of one of the spheres, the two psykers were controlled by the sphere on the shop, but they were in the process of creating a full body for it
Giant war machines are frightening enough, but adding a giant melee weapon is definitely terrifying. But the image of a 165 cm woman in scraps of leather and armor with a 2 meter bar of metal and spinning teeth charging is more viscerally frightening.
also being turned into a servitor isnt allways a punishment, it can also be a reward, for example there was a guardsmen who fought besides the sisters, the sister bearing the banner of the order got killed and the guardsman without any regard for his own safety rushed in to keep the banner upright, being mortally wounded in the process but the banner didnt fall so the sisters turned him into a servitor after the battle for giving his own life to uphold the honor of the order
I remember a Inquisitor (can't remember witch) made is Mentor/tutor into a servitor after they died (extreme old age), the idea was "If a space marine may serve even in death, why not we" kinda way, plus he really did care for their old mentor.
The concept of servitorization is nightmare fuel for us, regardless of the reason. Within the context of 40K though, where not only is the soul's existence confirmed but the afterlife is akin to a blender that starship travel through to deliver your mail, becoming a servicer is likely better than death. Dying means your soul is in the warp, and either the plaything of abominations, reduced to scattered soulstuff by the currents of the sea of souls, or in very rare cases entrusted into the care of a God's demense, like the emperor and his living saints.
Servitors can operate without a human brain. The idea is using a human body as a chassis for technology. The most simple servitor is a skull with internal tech.
@luminous6520 correct. Having your skull used to be made into a servo skulls is something that's done for heroes of the imperium. There's also no brain in servo skulls which is a common misconception. Also a servo skulls is not a servitor. They're 2 different things.
The pattern for the knives the space marines use was lost to the Imperium after the Age of Darkness. Two guardsmen found the STC (like a 3D printer template) for the knife. They were each awarded their very own planet. That is how screwed humanity is in 40K, finding lost STC patterns is worth your own planet.
The Orb says: “Brother, we have all failed. The Astartes denied our touch. You must return, break your seals. They are some kind of warp entities, and it is believed that the psykers aren’t organic beings, but machines being controlled by the orbs. And as to the Captain and Sargent killing the inquisitor, he became possessed, his soul went to the warp and a daemon took its place. Daemonhosts are very dangerous, and once they killed him, they had to destroy his body. Just because you kill someone after they become possessed, you are not safe from daemons still being able to use the body. just incase you couldnt hear it clearly

You paraphrasing the Two Towers speech for the Space Marine and Sister of Battle is surprisingly apt, as many of the Sisters dislike the Astartes because they see them as too far from human thanks to the various modifications that the Space Marines receive.
That would make sense, if not for the fact that those "various modifications" were created by their god. A lot of SoB's probably don't worship the Space Marines as literal angels like the rest of the Imperium does, but that doesn't change the fact that each and every space marine has the Emperor's blood flowing through his veins.
@@bilbobagend8155 The main contention between sisters and space marines (other than the black templars) is that space marines do Not see the emperor as a god, he did not want to be seen as such after all. If you're at all interested in the Necrons, I highly suggest reacting to some of the uploaded clips from the Pariah Nexus animate series if you do something like this again. Some of them show off a pretty prominent Necron character and also a few of the different troops that the Infinite Empire has at its disposal
Others said it but when Tyranids eat a planet it's down to the last microbe and even some of the rocks in the planet. They leave it a dead world and move on which gives them this feeling that they are an existential threat to all life in the Milky Way, with the exception of Necrons and Chaos I guess. Feel like the problem with them narratively is they don't really have any real characters. Like you take Khorne, even among Khorne daemons, they can have their individual personalities even if it's pretty one note at times. On the other hand, the best you get with Nids is Old One Eye which is ultimately a Carnifex with a messed-up face or a Lictor that is extra cruel. Most of the time it's just a wave of bugs attacking you so it feels like your fighting nature more than anything. Kind of makes a lot of the stories the same in a wide scope at least when dealing with them. Have to focus on the effect they are having rather than the Nids themselves.
Yay diningsaur! People talk about female space marines but even if they didn't require a Y chromosome for their implants and stuff to not kill them they wouldn't be the big booba waifus people imagine. They'd barely be distinguishable from the male ones because of how becoming an astartes affects the body. They'd look far more similar to female body builders multiplied by a hundred because of the vast amounts of testosterone and other muscle/bone structure affecting hormones that go into making a human into a post-human living weapon.
In the fantasy version, used to be called "Warhammer fantasy" now "Age of Sigmar", has a faction of lizard people, which include humanoid dinosaurs as well as regular dinosaurs, and they're kind of Mayan/Aztec themed

Vocal idiots in the fanbase lashed out at him for taking the GW deal and pulling his content from the platform when he literally had no choice. That made him change his mind about animating warhammer content and he now no longer does it.

WOW BIG WORDS FROM HERETIC WITHIN CRUSADING DISTANCE! ! !
Genestealers fulfill that part, I think.
The norn emissary in Leviathan did a pretty good in displaying character
Yay diningsaur!
People talk about female space marines but even if they didn't require a Y chromosome for their implants and stuff to not kill them they wouldn't be the big booba waifus people imagine. They'd barely be distinguishable from the male ones because of how becoming an astartes affects the body. They'd look far more similar to female body builders multiplied by a hundred because of the vast amounts of testosterone and other muscle/bone structure affecting hormones that go into making a human into a post-human living weapon.
You know what that makes sense!!
In the fantasy version, used to be called "Warhammer fantasy" now "Age of Sigmar", has a faction of lizard people, which include humanoid dinosaurs as well as regular dinosaurs, and they're kind of Mayan/Aztec themed
You mean she spends her time doing what a vtuber is supposed to do? Mkay
Excellent selection. Good and cute reaction.
wtf theres dino vtubers now? how come I just know about this now
You should watch Adeptus Ridiculous to get caight up in the lore. It's Bricky's Warhammer lore podcast and it's really fun!
I really want to see at least one Vtuber react to Pity the guardsman.
Now she needs to watch Helsreach!
18:03 thats not a heretic its demon possession lmao
Unfortunately, the fanbase lost Sodaz as an animator do to backlash from GW pulling all fan content from youtube.
Vocal idiots in the fanbase lashed out at him for taking the GW deal and pulling his content from the platform when he literally had no choice.
That made him change his mind about animating warhammer content and he now no longer does it.
That really sucks :( I'm sorry for Sodaz 😭
What, no Flashgitz? Missed opporunity lol.
The fact you did everything but death of hope, the most 40k of the 40k animations, is a travesty
Nooo nobody recommended it to me :(( i'll make a part 2!!
I'm sure you mean 30k!

Should've honestly watch Helsreach
Its in my future plans!
I hope you watch why Guilliman is the best primach video it's great.
can i also recomment the "death of hope" animation? its a bit grimmer but its wh40k and there is only war. not sure if ytube will like it though.
no the lord inquisitor prologue short film, that's a little disappointing.
well, for the next warhammer 40k animation reaction stream i guess
Recently discovered your channel. So far I loved what I seen. I really enjoy Warhammer. Personally I am rooting for the Tyranids and the Necrons. Out of curiosity which faction do you like? I'm guessing Orks but I could be wrong.
Welcome!! I hope you like your time with us 🦖
For the factions, so far my favourites are the Sisters and the Orks, although I do have a soft spot for the Tyranids too
@@trexiesaurus So far it's been grand. you have a lovely personality and the fanbase seems great. Overall I believe I will be with you guys for some time. Hope today is treating you well and I patiently wait to see what your next vid is. Oh also I will admit the sisters are a solid faction, respectable choice.
Jajajaja "left the galaxy boy" The translator needs more practice
AYAYA

Downvoted. Spends as much time watching her chat as she does at the things she is supposed to be reacting to.
