Foundation Declutter time! Trying to cut my collection in half! Did I do it?

You are the only other person I've heard say the new Revlon foundation is super dewy. Every oily skinned person has said it has a satin finish. Hearing you say that has pretty much confirmed my theory that this foundation is drastically changed by what is put underneath it. I have super dry skin, so I obviously use super moisturizing and dewy skincare and primers and I assume you do something similar
So funny to read this because after I used this foundation a few more times, I would get a different finish each time and came to the same conclusion. I dont have any other foundation that acts like that.

The elf foundation you have is my holy grail foundation it’s awesome it’s always my go to foundation out of the 64 foundations I have I always gravitate towards that one along with the hydrating camo concealer ❤

That ELF foundation is excellent, but that's where I really saw that your color range is huge for your skin tone! I would try it in Pearl, it is lighter and less orangy... They have so many shades it's a shame to have to 'make it work'!

Hi i always use estee lauder double wear and i have had mine much longer than two years but they do different undertones now and it sounds like you have a completely wrong shade also they have a water base double wear now too also double wear light these three also come in different undertones as well as different shades thats why i love it so much ! good luck finding your favourite, love liz x by the way i have futuristic too !

I did like the balm, but I love the merit. Not a fan of the too faced. I only used the powder foundation from pur. I need to try the true match. Love my lys. Shiseido is the bomb. My double wear also was matched too dark, what's that about. I do like the catrice, need to use it a bit more. I need to try the hydromaniac. Or maybe not, Ottawa get stupid muggy In summer. Love the dior skin tint. Wnt to try thr kosas, but it's too yellow, even the neutral. I WANT the yummy skin 🤣 ok, gonna have to try the elf. The sephora is amazing. The loreal is great in summer, love it. I need to see if the Revlon has made it to Canada yet. My missha is 25, too dark, so now I use it to darken my slightly too light foundations. Thank you for this. Just reminded me I have too many foundations 🤣😘💖😘💖😘💖

I have no proof for this but its just a theory i have (maybe i should take a look at the ingredient lists if all the foundations that broke up on you) but im wondering if its your oils in those areas breaking up the oils in the foundation because "like dissolves like" kind of how our oil cleansers work.
I think your theory is correct and also I think if the weight of the foundation is heavy or consistency is thicker and doesn't sink into the skin, then my oils will break it apart, too. I have an updated foundation declutter coming very soon (as soon as I finishing editing it) that talks about that a lot.
@KariMeghan can't wait!! I absolutely can't stand when my foundation breaks up like that. I have combo sometimes leaning oily skin so I've experienced it quite a bit.
