Did you guys figure out what the issue was? Was the machine just a lemon? Did they fix it?
According to Hermle's management, the machine is flawless.
So this is the stability my new Hermle machine can perform.
The precision is really bad. The thermal expansion is enormous. it affects the kinematics a lot.
We can measure errors on items up to 0.055 mm.
I have sued Hermle, as they cannot get the machine to mill stably and accurately

@@VMV-TEKNIK "I have sued Hermle" very good, looks like they didnt even test the machine when you said it is horrible. You should be able to send it back and get a replacement or just get the money back as this is completely unacceptable.

Wow, that is absolutely shocking from a company like Hermle. You pay a premium price for a premium product and you expect it to not only perform, but for service to be absolutely perfect. How did they explain the poor cutting performance?

Hermle's service technicians say it is a problem with the stability. but when the problem / matter comes up to the management, they say that the machine is faultless.
Therefore, the case has ended in court.
