      Hello. Curious about the U.K. waterfowl hunting rules and regulations.
      In the U.S., the Federal agencies thought that there were too many pellets going skyward and they thought the Duck & Geese population would be wiped out. Many folks had switched from single-shots and double barrels to Pump/slide actions or semi-autos such as the Browning Auto-5 or it's cousin, the Remington model 11 which held 4 or 5 shotshells in the tubular magazine under the barrel.
      { My Granddad used to shoot a 10 gauge single shot to hunt ducks and geese at the marches not far from a city. No limits back then. He would sell them later in the day on the wooden sidewalks, for dinner, [ lots cheaper than beef ] early 1900's .}
      I know in the U.K. most folks shoot Double barrel shotguns. Do you get weird looks from other hunters using that bolt-action shotgun, especially a brand made in the U.S.?

      @@fernandogarza4231 you do have a point. I’ve seen videos of people who can work bolts super duper fast and that’s great, but that takes lots of time and practice. But compare that to a semi auto or pump which are very easy to fire quickly. Overall, a person with a pump or semi auto is going to be able to do it faster most of the time.

      I mean it's just bc the pump is more efficient and obviously a semi is superior. It doesn't matter how fast you can work a bolt for the majority of users the pump is just going to be better. The coolest feature about the bolt action is the mag feed in my opinion. But with the lack of speed, and the action being harder to use while keeping your aim on the target, it just doesn't stack up

    I found your video trying to find a spring assembly replacement for my 395 KB magazine for my 12 gauge my father gifted me when I turned 10 years old. I just turned 63 Oct 12th so I had it a very long time. It looks brand new because the spring broke just a couple of weeks after my father gave me the gun. In fact, he gave me & my brother who was 10 years younger the same gun & his broke at about the same time so those magazine designs are trash. I'm looking for a spring replacement which is why I'm researching the gun. I got lots of surplus weapons so I don't care much about firing this one (well, maybe a few times for good time's sake), I'm just trying to make it whole again since it means a lot in my old age. The magazine replacements cost more than the gun is worth so I guess I'll try to make a spring for it. You know 2 shot mag isn't ideal aways so I'm not sure who designed it & for what? Seems like there would be some 5 or 10-round replacements out there somewhere but there's not enough demand. Good luck with yours. You might want to back off shooting this one because that spring is about to break which is the problem.

    How unfeeling! Have you no compassion? Don't you know orange lives matter? I had to use my brother's .410 Mossberg bolt action when I was much younger. Never could reliably get it to feed. Then, time marched on. More recently I have shot three doubles using my bolt action Enfield .410 Musket on the skeet range. Originally a single shot, I modified the gun back to MKIII repeater configuration.

    Tube receivers were all the rage of the 30s to the 50's. Easy to make from mass produced DOM tube. About as easy to machine as one can get, a dude with cash in hand can walk into any steel supply warehouse and walk out with all the material to dremel and drill press out one of these as a single shot in a day or two. You don't need 1" thick walls or super secret alien space steel with magical heat treat imbued upon it by JMB himself from a secret mountain cave in Utah. Sorry to all the Pilsner J Fudds who devoutly believe otherwise, it's not that complicated.
    These were made in .22 rimfire and all the known shotgun gauges. I've owned or do own these in tube and box feed magazines. They're really the everyman's tool, the PSA blem kit of their day.

    I hadn’t heard of a bolt action shotgun until I was about 21-22. Then My buddies dad had a 20g bolt action mag fed shotgun. I was like I gotta find one!!! Lol it took some searching f but I now have 2 12’s a 16g a 20g and a 410. The 20 and 410 are both single shot no internal or external mags. The 12 gauges and 16g all have 2 or 3 round internal mags. So they hold 3-4 with 1 in the chamber! I want a 28g bolt and if I can find 1 or if they ever made 1 I might even try to get a 10g?? I don’t mind kick on a rifle.. but never was a big fan of the 10g shotgun’s recoil!!! Never have been shy of shooting any rifle no matter how big!! But man that 10g just something about it I don’t like!! But heck why not have 1 in every gauge? I still need the revolver, lever and semi auto,over under and double barreled 410’s to have an expression of each design they made from single shot on!! They made some I’m sure I probably can’t get now! But for a poor bit I try!! And I honestly have to say I don’t like the look of the bolt action’s but there’s just something cool about them!! Just an oddball shotgun! And I figure the more firearms I collect now the more each of my kids get when I’m gone!! Then they will have a good jump on their collections!! As long as the world doesn’t go completely to hell in a hand basket!!! As always thanks for the content!!! And God Bless!!

    I have a revelation western auto 12 guage bolt action rifles of my dad's. It's a neat gun but wouldn't use it for home defense. Wonder what it is worth. Great video

    Does anyone know how the diagnosis a feed issue on one of these? My mag seems to be sliding in to far. Also the mag release seems to be sticks. The guns action works fine with live ammo. The issue is when firing it. It's like the mag is slightly moving up and down.

    1/2 a target lead, at that range, that's not much lead, 1/4 to1/2 and inch on sights, follow through and lead 1/2 a target. Follow through for sure.

    All around hard working shotguns , good for birds, small game , Coyotes and deers... i keep 1 in my barn and in my truck .. anyboby can fix one , easy to find parts.. Cost $50 to $200 ... And at that price you can get mud on them, you can drop them. You can throw them in your truck and scratch the s*** out of it. There affordable, they're a workgun They shoot slugs and buckshot just fine too.. There's several different brands and types. All basically, the same, they're all good...

    I have one of these in 20 and 16g there pretty neat. I scored them from a guy looking to get rid of them for a 120 for the pair. Took them apart and cleaned them the only flaw is the bluing is worn off on the under side of the barrel wear it sits in the stock witch is pretty normal cuz no ever really took these things apart. Also there supposed to be read and green dots for safe and fire and both of mine are missing the green dot that would of been in the stock.
