I am sorry Omar, but doing this interview was just wrong. You are a father of two daughters. How would you feel if a 38 year old man initiated contact with one of your daughters through DM and started calling her naughty??? Ed may not have done anything illegal since the PA statutory age is 16, but it is definitely creepy as hell. You can feel sorry for his family without glorifying his legacy. Calling Ed a social outcast who didn't know better is dishonest. How many times have we seen sex offenders target children when they can't connect with women their own age. He may not have assaulted a minor yet, but there were a ton of warning signs. Would any of you leave your daughters alone with Ed? Would you be OK with him messaging them? I know I wouldn't.

You want to talk about his comic and I am saying you can't separate the artist from the art. There are tons of talented artists that do not try and initiate inappropriate relationships with minors. Look at some of the comments not just on this video, but just see how the family is attacked on social media. We are living in different times.
He said it in his note, that it doesn't matter if he's innocent because the court of public opinion already made up their mind and he'd never be able to show his face around town again. He lost everything in the manner of a few days. You don't just get all that back by successfully suing someone.

I don't think anyone is celebrating anything. This is about a mother and father that lost a son and a brother in the video obviously mourning his brother and trying to carry the legacy of his work. If we start doing things like this then there goes anything by Elvis, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Steven Tyler, Jerry Lee Lewis, Iggy Pop and Mick Jagger. I think its up to the individuals to decide what to buy and what not to buy.
Might have had to do with part where the allegations were all smoke and no one not even his initial accusers ever actually claimed that he harassed or committed any form of misconduct that could be substantiated. The alleged testimony that apparently was supposed to come out of all the other “victims” that the public did not know of never came to be. Probably because it didn’t happen. Considering that the alleged offences he committed were being told third hand by someone who back walked her own testimony of events, it’s unlikely there was anything there. But hey that’s the internet for you, guilty until proven innocent in the court of public opinion based on claims with no legitimate backing or evidence behind them.
