More than 500 private villas reduced to ashes in Malindi town

A section of tourism investors in Malindi town, Kilifi County are tonight counting losses after a fire burnt down more than 500 private villas. Eyewitness said the huge fire that was spreading so fast burnt Makuti thatched villas. No casualities were reported. Firefighters however managed to put out the blaze.
