I just found your channel. I’m enjoying your content. My hubby and agree with you! People often refer to us as “homesteaders” because we grow a garden and I can much of our produce. We cut our own firewood for our wood stove. We eat mostly scratch foods that I prepare. We do most of our own repairs and upkeep on our home, and hubby deer hunts. We live on a tight budget. It’s not homesteading to us. That’s just how we were raised, we don’t have the extra money to pay for things we can do ourselves!

When I lived there, we used to go to Chattanooga and stay in one of those chalets with a hot tub on the deck. There are some awesome exhibits there like dancing bears where they dance for some food.😊

@popcornboxing369 oh I've helped raise several. My siblings are much older than me so I helped with their kids as needed. I've never really been childless 😉
@@FromtheHoller wow! How did she recover? Most in the sobriety community say it’s close to impossible 🙅 to recover if you have a couple who are addicted. I know she is enabling but at the same time sounds like she is a pretty strong willed person.
@popcornboxing369 to be honest, I had her arrested for stealing all my jewelry and pawning it. I know my son was involved but I couldn't prove his guilt. It was her name on the pawn ticket. She sobered up while in jail and, as far as I know, has stayed clean
