I'm a Therian and also a Quadrobist and this was really interesting to watch. From my experience, after about a month of doing quads I actually lost 6 pounds and I felt amazing. I also changed my diet a little bit because I was eating processed food along with healthier food so I cut some of that out. It really helped me feel more energized and strong. Highly recommend quads, just do it in moderation. I do about 2 - 3 hours of quads each day and then I'm done. Ive been doing quads for about 6 months now and im still i proving everyday. This is random, but for people who want to actually walk on all fours sometimes, you should curl the tips of your fingers to the start of your fingers. This helps to reduce the chance of your fingers getting crunched the wrong way.

Your gait already begins to resemble that of simians- one leg goes between your arms, the other outside them, in a diagonal fashion. That's really cool to observe, and not something most people do when they first start to bear crawl.

I believe the reason you think that you are less "lean" muscle is because you were using almost every muscle on all 4's, and were likely filling out muscles you don't normally use all the time. This blowed the proportion out from the muscles around those, the forearms definitely could have gotten bigger and made the biceps look smaller because of it and less bigger in comparison

I've been doing crawling daily ever since I saw Bioneer's video over a year and a half ago, it is now my main form of strength training along with an occasional pull-up set. Sometimes just a few seconds as a warmup, but often I go to the running track and do a few minutes in the center field, or I find a staircase. Always with gloves now because you just never know when someone left a smashed bottle around. If you do crab walks as well as bear crawl it balances out the shoulders. It puts most gym equipment to shame for the amount of fatigue it can generate, and it never really gets boring, there are too many ways to change it up.
I should probably try using a weight vest for progression since the flat ground just isn't much of a challenge now(other than hurting my hands) and the stairs are mostly testing my explosiveness. I have tested putting plates in a backpack, the first time doing it I didn't have it secured right, the plates slid out over my shoulder and gave me a scare. It does work, even adding 5lb makes it much harder, but I think the vest would be better for keeping center of gravity.

I have been doing quadrobics for months but I could not go as fast as you could by only day 2. And a tip for anyone who is thinking of doing public quadrobics I would recommend wearing gloves to stop your hands hurting (so like shoes for your hands) and also tuck your fingers in so you don't break them!

Like this must have been super awkward to film but it’s very interesting, shows that even without the intelligence difference being acknowledged the bipedal movement just makes us so much better adapted than our other ape ancestors. It’s such a crazy advantage being able to use only 2 limbs to move at all times.

I have a few ideas for you Pigmie. they’re ideas related to improving your throwing skills with things like baseballs, hatchets, tomahawks, daggers, darts. I myself throw the ball around several times a day with Fletcher, my ridgeback baby. We use different weight / size balls. I throw them off the roofs. I bounce them off the backboards and trees. Fletcher Pele’s the bigger balls around the yard and off the fences and walls. We throw on the run. We throw moonshots. We throw rockets. When I am alone, I throw baseballs or heavy super balls off tennis court backstops or a flat or slightly angled wall bc it launches the balls way up in the air and it is more fun to catch them. The angled wall leads to a wilder bounce-back opportunity. I dig it. During the lockdowns, I printed a picture which showed all the different ways that professional baseball pitchers throw pitches, and how they generate movement with their throws. I taped that picture up on the wall, then after a few days i tucked it into my hat, and GAINS WERE MADE BROTATOES!
Then my little brother died. It’s ok. I’m good. Time to get back out there throwing. Try throwing baseballs for two weeks. Try out the different grips and learning the movement and the breath. I’d love to see that. Wouldn’t mind catching for you either,:D, just offering. Love you. XO
