Here's a few ideas for some curses if you ever do this again. Curse of Sight: You can't see the video and must listen to it to know what to do (or if that's too hard the video most be like a very bad quality) Curse of the Mouse: You must use your computer mouse to draw Curse of Non-Dominate: You must use your non-dominate hand.
curse of distraction you must complete the drawing with a small tab playing an interesting animation video in the corner (something good quality that will distract most) and they're on a time limit curse of wackiness: every time you stop drawing a line you must switch to a different brush and color, curse of near invisibility: you must paint using a white like color that's only slightly darker than the canvas
For me w digital tho my hand or pen accidentally touches the screen (bc i dont use a glove) which makes a f*ckass line across the canvas. Or i use a brush and its huge and covers most of the drawing. Or if u accidentally misclick and delete a layer So it's kind of necessary to have undo
Curse idea: curse of the color blind, basically while painting they use a monochrome filter to make everything look black and white and Grey they can only reveal the colors when they're done painting
my favourite has to be unironically the fish one, i mean like the shading is just so nice for no gradients or blending and they did a really good job on it
About MS Paint: you kinda have to specify a version now. Windows XP version is limited in feature but gets the classic pixelated look. Windows 7 version has quite some brushed and has pressure sensitivity I think, and pro grade art probably isn't a huge challenge there anymore. And the Windows 11 version straight up has layers, and like, yeah, is it even a challenge using it anymore?
@@Maareeoo yes, there have been quite a few versions now. And besides the windows 11 version which is now a Microsoft store app, every other version can be extracted from their original OS version to be used in later windows versions (as it's a single executable). Though the windows XP version might not work correctly in later OS if you don't turn off Windows Ink. Been complaining for years but Microsoft doesn't seem to be solving that issue.
Ideas: (more ideas in replies) Curse of the Sun There is a layer ontop filled in completely white set to "overlay". You have to make it look normal since at the end you turn off the layer to see how it looks. Curse of Crayola (haha, get it? because crayola has the brightest colors known to man. like damn add some pastels for once!) All color sliders must be set to 0 or 255 in the RGB scale. For example, you can only use: 255, 0, 0 0, 255, 255 So on and so forth Curse of Time This player must watch the video in 2x speed Curse of the Moon Same thing as Curse of The Sun but the layer is black instead of white
More ideas: Curse of Dream Island everything must be sentient. EVERYTHING. and in the style of bfdi. so if there's a tree, add a face, hands, etc. the object itself doesn't need to be in the style of bfdi, just the limbs and face. Curse of Hands The player must use whichever of these they hate drawing with the most: Fingers Pen (digital ofc) Mouse Curse of Dimensions draw in the pre-installed 3d paint program
New curse idea: Curse of the Mosaic Put an adjustment layer that blends everything into a bunch of larger squares (like one of those blurry pixely window textures, or an adjustment later equally as devious) and then paint exclusively on the layers below it, then take off the adjustment layer at the end
The colour palette on the final version of the inverted painting goes so fucking hard. The saturation makes it look _almost surreal_ but the design of the environment itself with those almost _mesa style_ mountains makes the whole thing feel more real somehow. So the piece feels like it captures the surreal beauty of real ass nature at sunset. Unrelated note, pink and mint green is my favourite colour combination so the contrast between the trees and the sky brings me unreasonable joy. ^v^
It looks like all the photos at like…. National parks. Like Yellow Stone and stuff. There’s a park in Colorado called Garden Of The Gods or something that’s just a lot of unique stone structures and it reminds me of that a lot.
Working upsidedown is actually a regular exercise, and a trick to help inexperienced artists. To break things down more abstractly, to get more accurate core shapes and details. It has a similar effect to gridding.
Depends, drawing better in mspaint doesn’t really means that ur good at drawing, maybe ur just used to how the tools work in mspaint Same as how some traditional artist can’t do digital art cause they are used to doing it physically
I have a few curse ideas Curse of the one-colour (The artist has to only use one colour for the whole drawing, although different shades of the colour are allowed) Curse of the Pencil (The artist has to keep their original sketch in the drawing, no matter how disfigured it may look) Curse of the 19th Century (You have to draw as if your drawing was painted in the Victorian Era 😂)
the inverted one is really good. like its so pretty as both the original and the inverted. so did your upside down one, the mountain came out perfect imo
curse of the reflection : the tablet (or mouse) input becomes mirrored curse of the gamer : has to draw with a controller/joystick spell of anti-blue-light : has to use windows "night light" (settings>display>color), which makes the screen red-ish
You should put one of the curses as “curse of never ending” referring to the artist having to draw in one line (they can stop moving at any time, they just have to continue in one line.)
would be fun if there was a drawpile plugin where you all try to draw something together, but ending each stroke will cause the whole drawing to do a wraparound move no the canvas to one direction in all layers, no undo
This was a genuinely enjoyable and original video; it was so wholesome and probably some of the most fun I've had watched a video in a while! I hope to see more content like this one!
• Curse of Street Cred: You must only use OG airbrush/spray paint tool to draw your painting • Curse of Geometry: You must only use shapes to make your painting, no fill or line tools allowed. • Curse of Artist's Vision: You must use an eye tracker with button inputs to draw your painting (every tool is allowed, if you can even use it with an eyetracker lol)
MS paint is actually okay. I use it and to blend you use the natural pencil with whatever color over the other then color pick the color and continue that until it looks good. You can go over multiple times and stuff, yeah.
