I was thinking of footage from a recent ADCC Trials. Where this blue belt gets absolutely f**ked onto his head twice in a row. Really important to know how to defend.
Some young fool nearly destroyed my shoulder by suplexing me. It was supposed to be muay thai clinch sparring only but he escalated it. It was a painful lesson for me to never trust anyone to take your back in a wrestle, that is not your good friend who won’t hurt you.
I don't wrestle, but I always thought in this situation just hook his legs 1:41. I wonder if pretending you are doing a back flip works, landing on your feet.
ive thought of this, I'm guessing if your core is strong enough basically controlling the suplex by swinging your legs over before he drops will atleast put your feet before your head right?
