    The first couple times I did this, I played at 0.75x normal speed which helped me understand her movements more since it's quite fast paced and to get your coordination together. Got a good sweat on!!

    I like her instructing like this. Her more recent ads for the nonverbal stuff are a lot harder to follow. While I get the science of nonverbal & know it works, she doesn’t even use visual cues so you never feel like you own the moves, & it makes her seem like she doesn’t care or doesn’t know how to teach. This video shows she does know what she’s doing & knows how to teach it right.

    I love Tracy Anderson's workouts! She's amazing! The only instructor I've watched that has actually transitioned my body to be leaner and toned. Since her workouts target the smaller muscles it's so beneficial if u tend to bulk up easily. Thank you Tracy for your amazing workouts! 💓

    i have problems doing cardio exercises due to chronic problems with trachea but this is amazing, I am sweating like hell but it is not difficult to breathe for me

    Just finished 10 days of her beginning mat series that was about almost an hour long. So yesterday, thought I would try the 30 day method. Crashed and burned. So moved to Metamorphosis. Crashed and burned. So i found this. I really liked it. More so because it was not a whole lotta different, jerky moves. I'm going to do this with the Tae Bo express workout for the next 10 days. Whole workout will be 30 minutes total :)

    My girl went to the gym to lose weight, took all classes there, and all she got was getting firmer body with the same thickness.
    Then she tried Tracy Anderson and she actually got slimmer.
    There's a reason why GP uses Tracy's methods.

    I hate to be a downer, but what does this do other than perhaps (at least for beginners) boost lactic acid tolerance? I mean, the way I see it there are far better methods for almost any fitness goal imaginable. Want to get stronger? Lift weights in a progressive fashion. Want to improve conditioning? Get on a running program combined with hill sprints/prowler pushing etc... Want to become more explosive? Include jumps in your training. Not trying to hate, I just don't see what this is meant to achieve. Also, there are far simpler moves out there to target the various muscles.

      i find her workouts are great for my posture and my back and hips - i know her work is designed to activate tiny muscles - its also fun to use dancer-y angles as opposed to always just running and doing linear stuff. try doing 30 reps of each move and then see what you think.

      Actually ancient yogis believe anything tight against the body restricts the chi (life force). Spanx and elastic included, lol. It would even be better if she wore more baggy clothes but then You couldn’t see her moves as well. ✌️

      Funny how folks comment on something like THAT. A moot point really, (but for this type of workout, perfect to have loose clothing). You are correct-enables more lymphatic drainage too.

    How can you help me? 64 yrs, 5'3", 143lbs and struggling. Have always been good at fitness, gave in to the decline feeling defeated. At 55yrs did P90x and it was great but 10 min workout exhausts and challenges. Active lifestyle with an equestrian stable still but need help going forward.
    Should I simply start with this 10 min? Eating clean also and have list 8 lbs in 3 weeks but not much on the tape.

    love most of them but the knee work on just a mat is so hard on anyone's knees - eventually causing a knee injury. Non-invasive things like swimming or alternative exercises will be easier on the kneed and create the same results:)

      You can order a 1/2 inch thick mat on Amazon for like $20. I use them on concrete even (outside) and never have an issue.

      My tip: Don't do this workout. No real warm up, moves are dangerous and she does them way too fast.

      Avoid TA at all costs and get a physical therapist or personal trainer that can assist you in empowering yourself to feel safe to move.

    Packaging: It came in a sturdy rectangular cardboard box that said Yoga on it. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxZkaD2JsPC-fUMkF3vxJ2echoiXZ3T9aM I didn't like how it let possible package thieves know what might be contained inside but great packaging otherwise. The yoga mat came rolled up in a plastic wrap, which was fairly easy to remove.Contents: I got the green yoga mat and it came with an adjustable velcro carrying strap already secured to the mat. There was also a warranty card. There was a bit of a plastic smell coming form the yoga mat but it quickly dissipated after using it once.I've only used the yoga mat twice so far but I am loving it. It's such a game changer to my work outs, especially compared to my bed and floor, haha! I can confirm that it very thick, slip resistant, and comfortable. i didn't look at the dimensions prior to buying the mat, but it is so much longer than I expected! Width is normal size in my opinion. I don't know if it really is tear resistant yet... only time will tell!

    I saw an interview with J Lo who does Tracy's workouts (and who doesn't want a body like Jennifer Lopez???) and so decided to give Tracy's workouts a try.
    This workout is absolutely terrible. I am a certified personal trainer and unless I had been working out with a client and assessed their fitness level as advanced, I would never recommend these moves.....especially in a 13 minute workout where your body is not properly warmed up.
    The leg work is downright dangerous for your back and because you have to watch Tracy to see what she's doing (she also switches sides with no transition), you're craning your neck as well. She's also doing these moves way too fast.
    Does she assume everyone has the fitness level of J Lo or Gwyneth? I guess so. But if you couldn't do this workout, do not beat yourself up at all. It's meant for advanced exercisers who have a trainer right there with them to correct their form.

      J lo said recently she lifts weights and when she is in l.a. she'll work with tracy. I think this workout is bad too. I tried it and it eventually hurt my pelvis. I prefer lifting

      Absolutely agree with Lisa, I am certified Pilates instructor (hard core Pilates, not a grandma version), and many if not all of the moves shown by Tracy wouldn’t be recommended to an ordinary person without food knowledge of biomechanics or a trainer’s supervision.
      Yes, possible issue with neck well spotted on, wrist load if a person has an excess weight, knee joints, scapular stabilization.
      Done way too fast, to keep up the paste.
      Don’t take it wrong, these exercises would be fun to do for a someone who is already in a good shape, and knows biomechanics of movement.

      J Lo is one of those rare genetically blessed freaks who would look amazing whatever they do if only they'd stay active and at normal weight. She had perfect body when she started out - before weight training, before Tracy, only with dancing iirc.
      I personally have huge thighs,calves and hamstrings and I've never lifted heavy, they are built through regular calisthenics. Other women would need to squat a ton to get similar results. (though I've hated them when young)

      Try staying off sugar and white flour have more oragnic chicken bone broth ( in soups too!)... amazing the results to knees/joints :)

    While I loved the moves of the workout, it was sped up through ellipsing transition times. This means you have to pause the video - and for something that requires focus - it throws off the whole momentum.

      They all get nips, tucks and fillers. The “natural” look is in but it’s an oxymoron lol! Hollywood wants to look natural with a lot of help and money to achieve that look.

    This is great. On a funny,side-note; I’ve never seen yoga pants be baggy on someone! She is seriously sculpted-and tiny!

      There is such a thing called “relaxed” fit yoga pants. There are some that are more relaxed fit, some that are like a second skin fit, and some that have a super “compressed” fit. Also they can be baggy if you’re wearing the wrong size.

    Great workouts but going way too fast and not fully explaining what muscle group for each move. This workout video is not for beginner.

      i dont get it either. but i use my full hand when i do moves like that.
