The range of about 14-22 genuinely looks indistinguishable to me, and even above that can be tricky (Ive ID'd people in their actual late 30s when I worked in a supermarket). The range of about 14-22 genuinely looks indistinguishable to me, and even above that can be tricky (Ive ID'd people in their actual late 30s when I worked in a supermarket). However, that just means I as a blanket rule assume these people are younger and treat them as such, until proven otherwise

The whole “kids look older than they did way back when” excuse never fails to piss me off. I’ve always looked older for my age (like from the time I was 16 people thought I was my siblings’ mother) but I never acted nor talked like an adult.
