That same slug who rocked this shiit is still the same slug today. Only thing that's different is age. Slug is still untouchable even to this day he remains the same. It sux getting old lol... 😜

My first time watching this was in 02-03 junior in high school watching the video during computer class. I moved back from a smaller town where my mom lived to where I grew up 40 minutes south from the twin cities. My friends already were into Atmosphere and they said to watch the video. You could barely see Slug's face at 144p but the music was clean. Now 21-22 years later living in south Minneapolis, watching the video on my phone while my 5 year old is watching it with me has me remembering that first time. Damn.

Favorite thing about this song. When this album dropped in 03’ it had very mixed reviews. Accusations of selling out. This song in particular was treated pretty harsh. I’m old now - 40 - but this came out when I was just starting college - and we skateboarded all over town Fort Collins CSU in the early 2000s. Great time to be alive…literally did not have a cell phone. I got one around 2003, and was like wtf is this?!?
"Im just a next door neighbor, working hard trying to stay sober." I would bet that rings true with a lot of people these days. Remember, purpose is what you make it. Dont let people tell you what is important or not. You decide.
Slug snapped on this. Throws me back to my junior year in hs. Been listening to them for a few years by that time and this came out on the radio… I was pissed like everyone’s gonna start listening to them now lol

I remember in 9th grade I was just discovering good rap and hip hop, this was the first song I heard from atmosphere and I was hooked instantly. Thank you Slug & Ant for some sick rhymes and sicker beats
Can't believe that more than 10 years after hearing this I'll be back and just relate to the lyrics with a better understanding of English as a native French... Depicting a loyal picture of our degenerated world...
Was never big atmosphere fan but I always respected their approach to hip hop. It certainly was rather unique. In my opinion this is one of the best tracks they ever recorded.
Wow I'm 38 and played this game when i was in my mid 20s. I see the balance he's trying to build. Dope. When i listen to music I listened to back in the day. They have so much more meaning now. I think my Playlist is phenomenal. Especially with this song in it.
TRUE STORY i used to skate with this kid back in 06.. he was always freestylin n beatboxin and we all clowned when he was done ( especially me since I was the only chick that could blade with these fools) but forreal he always killed that shit. Too bad you don't get paid putting out real art rather than the mainstream bullshit that makes infants rich today but glad I can still hear it!!!
I first heard this song from playing THUG2 back at 2008 without a clue who the artist was and finding it again in 2017 really brings me back a lot of good memories after all the difficult struggles... this song makes me feel awake yeah know? I got so pumped hearing this again man!

😂
has it been that long? I remember when this came out yesterday it seemed
This song came out in 2003 how does it remind you of the 90s it doesn't even have that vibe it sounds like a energetic early 2000s banger to me
This song will never get old
Slug snapped on this. Throws me back to my junior year in hs. Been listening to them for a few years by that time and this came out on the radio… I was pissed like everyone’s gonna start listening to them now lol

Still trying to find a balance in 2019
#2020
Hell yeah bro
Keep in mind that the average intelligence in the US is 100. It's why some people are shocked when great talent is underrated or misunderstood. Not everyone gets it.
I remember in 9th grade I was just discovering good rap and hip hop, this was the first song I heard from atmosphere and I was hooked instantly. Thank you Slug & Ant for some sick rhymes and sicker beats
One of the most underrated rappers ever
Period
Hits harder than ever and I’m still trying to find a balance
Can't believe that more than 10 years after hearing this I'll be back and just relate to the lyrics with a better understanding of English as a native French... Depicting a loyal picture of our degenerated world...
Was never big atmosphere fan but I always respected their approach to hip hop. It certainly was rather unique. In my opinion this is one of the best tracks they ever recorded.
15 years later and this is still one of the sickest beats
Wow I'm 38 and played this game when i was in my mid 20s. I see the balance he's trying to build. Dope. When i listen to music I listened to back in the day. They have so much more meaning now. I think my Playlist is phenomenal. Especially with this song in it.
Atmosphere a legend the way he killed this is ridiculous this timeless and been a masterpiece for years 😮😮😮😮😮🔥😆🔥🔥💯🔥💯🔥💪💯💪😮💨🔥😮💨😮💨🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This song is unforgettable ❤
Re-discovering this song when it used to be your favourite on Tony Hawk's Underground 2 after some 18 years now is WILD... Massively underrated tune..
2020 and we still play atmosphere. 👍 No one even lights a candle to this legend
I missed the part where yall heard this as a teenager but I'm 27 and this shit speaks on 2024 so he was ahead of his time
I'll never let this die. Period.
Erica Jordan lol atmosphere was a well known act well before 2006. At least match your lies up with timelines
@@aidandean-jones4029 shes not talking about slug dumb fuck
@@aidandean-jones4029 so many years later and this comment still makes me lose brain cells
2021 and I'm still trying to find my balance. But I won't give up.
17 years ago… One of the original TH-cam OG’s right here
Damn I miss this Slug energy. Timeless!
Respect from Italy 🙏✌🔥💣👊🎙🔝🎧
I first heard this song from playing THUG2 back at 2008 without a clue who the artist was and finding it again in 2017 really brings me back a lot of good memories after all the difficult struggles... this song makes me feel awake yeah know? I got so pumped hearing this again man!
For over a decade I've listened to this song on the morning of major life events, starting new jobs, Integrating into new friend groups, buying a new car, buying my first house. It's always been grounding, in this fucked up life I'm just trying to find a balance

First time hearing this as a kid on launch.com in 2002... the old yahoo music site lol. atmosphere finally made a good record ... yeah right, they’ve made plenty good records. Been hooked since 2002. Haha, my fav group ever
Oh here i go again...Lyrics from this song randomly reappeared in my head and now i'm gonna go on a spree of only listening Atmosphere and Eyedea. Well, i guess it's been a long time anyway.
Eyedea is still alive
Damn! I can't believe I just discovered this! Things will never be the same. I came here from Virgo.
You'll be happy you did
