Back in elementary school I had a teacher who played this game religiously. He would have the class watch him during lunch time and occasionally tell us what options he should do during his game sessions. After lunch, he would save his game to play it another day, I had no clue what was going on but the sprites on the screen were so mesmerizing. Probably one of the best moments in elementary school and is a reason why I picked up this game. God bless him.
Sergiu never ceases to amaze. Everytime i think in a match that this is it and Sergiu is gonna lose. He just keeps his calm and survives every attack and than manages to beat the opponent. Absolutely brilliant
To anyone watching this and wondering if the Multiplayer is still alive. IT IS , Game ranger always have around 50 players during the week, and more in weekends . Although there's a lot of weird pple or middle eastern with PC potatoes and a very old version. Game on steam is the version 1.41
Man, I've spent half of my teenage years playing Stronghold but tbh I played it like the Sims. My main thing was to build a beautiful and strong castle😂

Greatest strategy game I played . But, I have a question why the hell didnt you make bowmen ?! that would have ended his attacks sooner ! Why didnt you invest in horses with bows?! You had a lot of coins! That would have giving a headache ... he wouldn’t have roam the map freely
Is there a reason why you Are not building any monuments/ flowers? Judging by your gold overflow your economy should be able to take the penalty and since it seems that the limiting factor is the amount of knights, wouldn't the military buff be a huge advantage?
@@madisonpitcock8178 good things like flowers, monuments give your soldier +25% health bonus if maxed to 5 but they will be lazy, bad things like prison etc gives your soldiers -25%health but production will be 150% ( good for mercenary). If u go for example maxed good things you doesn't have to build farms you just need ale maxed to 8 good things to 5 and religion maxed to 11 or 12. You always have many possibilites :)
Stronghold Crusader Is a lot More vivid than Warlords, for me Warlords look too depresive and boring. This version Is always going to be the Best for me

I wanna note the lack of pikemen here, i think they are somewhat underrated but I always use them especially when im up against many horse riding units, supported with shields and balistas.
How do you play online? I tried GameRanger and it sucked. The connection is too bad and keeps getting DC. Do you use IP? How could I play online with different, random people from different parts of the world competitively?
how would you counter a horse archer rush in this scenario? when you hit 0 gold like 2 mins in i was kinda shocked. would be a shit time for opp to push
You have a strong foundation of the economy but lack of focus to process it (Maybe because your attention is distracted by your fear to lose). Honestly, it annoys me a lot but the same case applied to your opponent. He is too focus on the assault and forgot his own defense.
