The blue player made a big mistake going to attack to the other corner of the map before taking down his neighbour. Blue player didn't understand those yellow player attacks against Sergiu castle were ( or just as strategic movement ) a sign for alliance. Instead, Sergiu understood the defenseless of blue city. Whatever, being quite close, the blue one never built good defenses against Sergiu not even attacking Sergiu's farms, why ? I think the best player was the yellow one, but Sergiu made the most regular game and gave an epic duel to finish the blue king.
If they had just let each other do their thing and kept attacking them from both sides, it would have been Blue vs. Yellow in the end. Instead Blue decides to focus his army on the Yellow player, getting rid of him and allowing Sergiu to take him down. Sergiu definitely should have lost, but it just goes to show how dumb some people are.

I always build a small keep and then build castle walls and build my economy in a citadel. Making a real castle. I build my army much sooner, not such a huge economy but a sustainable one.
To be honest, the only reason you won is because of other players' incompetence. Blue decides to attack Yellow and relieve you of the danger from one side, allowing you to rebuild your economy again and attack him back. If they had used their brains and got rid of you, since you were in the middle being attacked from both sides, you would have easily lost and they could have gone toe to toe with each other. Just sad how people don't think...
Usually paying bribes and putting rations to 0 benefits me more than giving away more food and asking for taxes. I feed my people with ale, one pub supports 30 people and the ale consumption is quite slow. Even in 8 pubs 50 ale lasts quite a while.

Bread is most economic so you will have food almost always Beer makes population happy so you can give them beer and robe their money hahah with taxex so your economy will rise :D like a drunkers they want beer dont care about their money this game is so real :D :D :D
Don't ask him, he is not good at all at this game, maybe not his favourite? But you should build just 6-7 woodcutters huts, two quarries and two to three ox tethers, believe me, in the time the masons transport the stone, the quarry will have made a bunch of stone and that'll be quite a bit of stone on the quarry stone pile and not your stockpile, that is bad, so make ox tethers as much as you feel is needed, if too much stone is piling up on the stonepile, then make more ox tethers, and you should make as many iron mines as possible and sell the iron, I'd always recommend to go Arabian because, it doesn't take too much money to set up and make ready your army in no time, you only need gold and peasants, and did you know? Arabian archers are better than their european counterparts, they have a better fire rate, and I think are stronger, Inns are always useful when you want as much gold as possible, so you can tax your people as much as possible, you need to make as many wheat farms as possible and make 2 to 3 mills for 5 to 6 wheat farms, and then literally spam bakeries in a particular spot, but in a uniform order, we want as little space occupied by them as possible, that is your economy, for your castle, I recommend using Lionheart's building style because it's cheap and effective, I usually dig some moats and build a drawbridge for extra protection against enemy attacks, and then place 10 to 20 arabian archers on each of your towers, with a ballista and many braziers (braziers not required if you are only going to place crossbowmen on your towers, in that case, you can also place 10 crossbowmen) I also recommend placing at least 2 firethrowers because Arabian Archers don't do much damage to armoured units, so if you see armoured units like swordsmen and pikemen and macemen getting to your castle, then it's time to place those fire throwers, but don't ever forget to sell all your raw materials if you are Arabian, because they can make a good deal of money too, but always leave at least 10 stone and 40 wood planks in case you need them in an emergency, and for attacking, always throw in a couple hundred horse archers, remember, don't hesitate to spend a few hours on this, but you need the horse archers, because a siege becomes very difficult without horse archers with only melee units, so yeah, spam horse archers and try to move them around the castle because they can fire while moving as well, although don't go to close to the walls with units like, Caliph, Wolf and any others who may use pitch ditches or engineers with oil to make their defense stronger.......and then when the enemy is almost totally out of units, you should send in a bunch of assasins to kill the lord, believe me, the horse archers take too long to kill a lord, so do send a party of assasins.......
And I was talking about the bare minimum for the quarries, make as many as possible with as many ox tethers as you think are needed because they are also part of your income sources

In my opinion, AoE is a bit harder than Stronghold Crusader. Actually, I think SC is easier (not much easier, though) than most of RTS games, which is what makes it so playable :)

Dude you play with your prey to much. You had the power to take out the thorn in ur side and waited till u had abattle on your hands. Idk maybe it's more fun that way. I found that most players play one speed and thats kill or be killed. Great gameplay though!
tbh the first thing i do is wall me and the nearest resources in and THEN start building the castle im not so fast and i tend to play on a way lower scale though i guess thats because i always play singleplayer, in which the enemies also play on a lower scale than this shit or maybe something's wrong in this video. i think it's the latter

Dark Light Stronghold Crusader HD had some new resolutions. And Crusader Extreme has some god like abilities. :)
