Nivarias my friend some advise, scan everything and pick up all you can pick becouse you gona need them. Water you can make with salt and the table coral.Have fan its a great game!!

Salt + the yellow coral makes bleach -> water. Table coral is for electronics.

IMO one of the best games of all time, I'm very happy you play it! Some spoiler-free tips that the game doesn't tell you about:
- Swimming while holding a tool is slower because you swim with 1 hand only. Holster whatever you are holding when you travel long distance. Seaglide is an exception to that ofc.
- Scan everything and read about it, at least read the assessment/summary. E.g. scan a rock-outcrop to learn which materials it will drop.
- When you are looking at something that you haven't scanned yet, there is a scanner icon in the bottom right corner of the screen, even if you aren't holding the scanner in your hand.
- Cooked food will decompose over time and eventually rot. However, you can store as many uncooked fish as you like and cook them just before eating. Cured fish are fine but you'll need more water if you rely on those.
- Whenever you enter a base your inventory is saved. Pretty useful to save expensive stuff in case you want to do something risky where you might die.
- You can 'over-eat'. Eat a nutrient-block when you are at 99 food and you will have 174, which lasts for very long. Some fish species are more nutritious than others, check how much food and water you gain from cooked fish by looking at the tool-tip.
- You can't over-drink, water is max 100. You won't need much food for your trips but quite a bit of water.
- If you have high enough food and water, you will heal slowly.
- EXPLORE. A very helpful tool for that is the beacon. Always carry a couple of those so you can revisit interesting areas with an empty inventory. Eventually, you will have a handy 3D map.

Ooohhh nice! Subnautica is a great game, especially fun the first time when everything is new!
If I may give some advice, don't open the inventory/PDA underwater... the oxygen is still consumed and you may find yourself with an empty tank!
Also, when you upgrade your equipment there's no need to craft a new base item; the best way is to unequip the item, upgrade, and reequip it, it saves quite a bit of resources (and inventory space).

Ooooh Subnautica ❤ one of the first survival games I played on the pc, but I get jump scared by the reapers to easily to play it for long😅 I'm playing planet crafter at the moment, thats simliar but without the scary things 😂

Wow one of my most favourite game. It has been long time since I completed it. One piece of advice, pick up everything, do not leave it behind. You will eventually need everything in high quantity... :-)
