Nah, you definitely dodge more in Souls games, not to mention that there's no limit to how many times you can dodge in succession, and the only limiting factor to dodging is how fast the stamina decreases.
Dodging in Dark Soul is harder and demanding, since it doesn't have perfect dodge. There is also no flashy red dot that indicates when the enemy will attack cause you need too focus on their attack movement. Also some enemies will delay their attack to catch players that likes to panic roll and not time it correctly

I try to look for the skip button
I try walking up the walls
I try to use grapple
I try to double jump
I try to swap character while swimming or gliding
I try to use intro or outro skill
I charge attack thinking it'll release my forte
I sprint like hell thinking my stamina is unlimited

Zhongli thing happened to me as well where i put up his shield but still proceeds to dogde and try to do damage with him. It took me a solid minute to realise why am i even dodging bruh
I always dodge big hits even with his shield so makes no difference to me :)

yeah, I like that the NPCs in Wuwa aren't just walking, talking quest givers, the soldiers actually fight when they encounter monsters, unlike in Genshin where Knights and monsters ignore each other's existence and when you're getting attacked by monsters, just 10 feet away from a Knight, he acts like he sees nothing.
One thing I noticed is the guards npc wont attack unless attacked first by the enemy. I hope that could change someday, making them attack first to 'secure' the sector or something
@@slickimz223 it makes sense that guards don’t attack unless provoked. They shouldn’t really be stirring up unnecessary trouble when defending a populated area or important location. But patrolling npcs actually attack on sight I’ve seem it a squad of midnight rangers walking in formation then all of a sudden they just charge at a pack of dreambanes.
Npc also pick items for you, it got me confuse when suddenly im recieving random items when im near entrances of towns or base when im just standing there or running down the road to enter.

Ngl this isn’t just a wuwa thing. When I was new to genshin a lot of these things felt obvious to me that they should be a thing. So this is more like “when you’re a casual player and you discover actual action games”
I'm not sure how Genshin Impact even got popular in the first place. The battle system felt so clunky and slow. Some of the dungeons feel like a messy mesh of random ideas. I think it's mostly FOMO.

okay so i haven't returned to genshin since i play wuwa, and i have a pretty normal look while watching this in overall, like i remember things i can and cant do. After nearly three years of playing Genshin Impact and investing over $10,000 in the game, I recently tried out Wuwa and found it to be a significantly better gaming experience. I regret spending so much on Genshin, as it feels like the company behind it hasn't made meaningful improvements in all this time. The exploration and gameplay in Wuwa are vastly superior in my opinion.
Theres no such thing as "investing" on gacha games.
Every penny you spent is like youre burning money.

I tried to play enough to get clorinde as my last character but got diluc c4 instead. Still missing tighnari dehya and keqing. I have gladly uninstalled for wuwa and will never look back. I just couldn't stand genshin anymore.

@@Peak_Antelope yea I was already losing interest in genshin before wuwa came out but that was just the final straw. I was like if i get clorinde maybe I'll play a little longer. Already lost 50/50 on yinlin to jianxin but I don’t care since it was 30 pity and I like her design. Just like the gameplay, characters, exploration of wuwa better which will motivate me to not leave exploration almost untouched like genshin. I don’t mind the 50/50 system since I did get my fair share of earlies with a win in genshin.

Fun fact: WuWa still can't beat Genshin, a game that's been running for years, in its first-month revenue. If one of these two games is going to be "dead" in a few years, I'm willing to bet it won't be Genshin. Like it or not that's just the way it is.

I mean, dodging in Genshin has i-frame too (as I see it), just that it doesn't have the cool slow-motion so it feels less rewarding. As for everything else, yeah, they're worlds apart
Doing a perfect dodge lets you do a counter attack of you immediately attack after the dodge and it does increased damage and greatly adds to your forte or ult energy depending on which character you're using.

Also dodging in Genshin while it does have I frames you have a slight cool down when you can activate another dash and ive had the misfortune of dodging one attack then dashing into another one and getting hit even if it does or does jot have any knock back it's soo frustrating that dodging wasn't very practical instead I would just move out of the way not to mention dashing drains stamina so much cuz if you run for even a second after you are still using up your stamina but in Wuwa I can dodge and keep moving so refreshing tbh
Also no counterattack. That move legit does a lot of damage.

genshinsexuals are making the argument of "why would they make a skip button for players who won't appreciate the amount of effort they put in for all the dialogue and story they wrote?". I'm just asking, what effort? They overuse the same NPC model for the 689th time with the exact same poses and idle animations and make the entire quest about fetching a lunch for the NPC, boom you have a world quest now. Nobody wants to play that shit, just let us skip it.
Also for the actually important quests like the archon quests and character story quests, THEY LITERALLY HAVE A REPLAY FEATURE OF IT IN THE ARCHIVE. There is absolutely no reason to worry about your players missing out on the story because they can literally just go to the archive and reread it. Just add a skip button dudeee.

Genshin use LB for wheel, wuwa use left d-pad. You can't rebind the button for that

I play Genshin on PC with a PS5 controller. I tried doing the same on WuWa, the bluetooth on my PC is constantly losing signal and i get hit by everything (and also because i suck at the game).
Started playing WUWa wih keyboard and mouse. Now getting hit is only my brains fault..
But i changed to mouse and keyboard to avoid pulling by accident and to avoid doing stupid things on either of games.

I play wuwa on mobile and genshin on PS4 when I say my head was hurting while climbing because of how Mind numbingly slow it felt

I actually played PGR first, Genshin and Bloodborne next, then WuWa. PGR and WuWa have faster gameplay than Genshin, ngl.
And whatever I learned from PGR and Bloodborne, like parrying and dodging, I applied to both Genshin and WuWa! Especially WuWa since it feels like a Soulsborne game!

dodging mechanic doesnt make the the boss attack useless like it can actually hit but instead of shielding u just use timing which makes the combat very enjoyable so uum u can avoid it by dodge while maintaining a nice proximity to the enemy to land an attack but for genshin its kinda tedious tbh, sometimes i do dash but its not reliable when it comes to continuing the attack smoothly btw the only character in genshin that i find fun to use is ninguang, beidou because of the mechanics is cool and smooth in their own way the flashy projectiles of ninguang which wreak havoc and the charged counter attack of beidou which makes me beg the enemy to and a hit especially when pyro is around

For Context: there was a meme in Genshin community where players who mains Zhongli doesn't know how to dodge because his Shield is that strong they facetank everything; but in WuWa Dodge and Counters are so crucial players dodge by reflex.

Wuthering Waves is way better when it comes to exploration. It's hard to go back playing Genshin again after experiencing the QoL of WuWa. I'm someone who had played Genshin, HR and WuWa, Genshin has the worst QoL of the three.
