This video is one of the best in explaining the questions on Health Coverage. I am moving to Mexico this month at 79 years old. I was basically resigned to footing the bill on medical expenses. I now understand that Medicare will pay for emergency care in Mexico and there is a person, Greg who will help me through that. Great work Maria and Greg. and for non emergency major medical I will move to a US facility and will be covered by Main Medicare. Greg, I will be contacting you soon

I am 85 with NO pain anywhere in my body and still drive. I do have Diabetes that I take 75mg Metformin twice a day. My current Blood Test shows A1C at 69, and all others are within normal range. Blood Pressure is 133 /70 (almost all my life except in my younger years it was about 120/65).
I still DRIVE locally in Los Angeles, California.
    -----------
I am an 85% LOW CARB, Vegetarian almost a KETO DIET but with Fish n Eggs n only Extra Olive Oil----hardly any Fast Foods n French Fries.
My height is 5'4" and weigh 140 to 143 in the last 5 years with a 30" waist (was 155-165 lbs. n a 36" waist until I changed my diet to more Vegetables, Fruits, smaller PORTION size and stay away from Fried, highly processed "packaged" foods).
Love the Mexican Foods always with Salad n Beans--highly nutritious n lots of FIBER.
    -----------
I take one-a-day Senior-Multivitamin + Omega 3, Probiotic, Vitamins C, D with Magnesium (over the counter n not prescribed by my family doctor, BUT I did tell him about my SUPLIMENTS, and he had no objection).
    2 bowel movements/day (morning n late afternoon).
    -------------
I have Medicare HMO Advantage Program with Blue Cross now in California.
    Will Mexico accept Medicare?
    -------------
Would like to know APPROXIMATELY what my Private Health Insurance will cost in Mexico, "if available", considering my Age, Diabetes, and my general health conditions.
    --------------
I took some Spanish night classes in East LA College some years ago n do speak passable Spanish-----Had an Export/Import business in Tijuana for 2 years.
    ---------------
Have income > $5,000/month and my Los Angeles house is free and cleared.
    ------------------
Attended Trade Shows in Mexico City, visited Ensenda, Hermosillo, Guadalajara, Mazatlan, Acapulco, Puerto Villata, Puebla, Hidalgo, Vera Cruz, etc., during my business years in Tijuana.
Would like to know more of Mexico n may get a RESIDENCY in beautiful, fascinating Mexico.
Thank you in advance for your help.

    Loved this video!!
Just came back from visiting the beautiful Ajijic/Chapala/Jocotepec area.
My wife and I are in our 50s and would like to retire early and move Mexico.
We have a teenage daughter (13); did Greg mention anything about a family based Atlas Plan?

Each person can get their own plan accordingly to age 😀

It sounds to me that Greg's plan is dependent on health plan subscribers maintaining a residence in the US.

Hi Steven. Not exactly- that’s only for Medicare advantage
He had the atlas plan that allows you to get coverage in Mexico from any part in the world.
