Tecnically the two post-game dungeons of this game can be done before you beat the final boss, so I think the are more "additional challenges" than "post game content". Also I bet that if they inclused those as "part of the main game" people would have complained on how much longer the game would have been. On the topic of romance, we had a pretty bad experience a few months ago when we played a short RPG Maker game. You had two character at the centre of the plot with ALL THE HINTS of a romance; then when they get to the point the game is like "nope, no romance allowed" and even the dev said "their relationship is NOT romantic" and we all went like "come on, we had two hours of build-up and we get no action?!?" XD
