not sure if i can say this is true or false since i went and tested this like 20 times with a save state, but nothing special happens when you piledrive him. his model goes through the spikes but that's just a normal collision thing. no different than if you push him in at the last second before he explodes or throw him into the spikes.
Awwww I hoped you would show, what happens if this boss manages to lock eyes with you, when they glow so freakishly ominously red. It's actually not as bad as the game( or to be more specific the last gnome of the stage) wants you to believe. It's freaky as hell though just as the boss itself. He transforms into air ( I presume) and invades your body through your mouth and nostrills and blows you up like a balloon ( like harry did to that horrible aunt in the 3rd Movie) and tries to make you land on the ice spikes. But just like his ice breath you can easily escape it.

This boss has always been the one Warioworld boss that disturbed me, even to this day. That face is the stuff of nightmares

if his eyes lock with yours he goes inside warios body inflating him and carries him towards the spikes
It happened to VinnyVinesauce on his playthrough, so just find his playthrough and you'll EVENTUALLY find it.
