Just trying to be helpful without bullshitting too much lol! I got the lights off of amazon btw... linked them in the description! Thankyou for watching!!!!
They’re pretty cheap too man. Honestly, they’re pretty legit as far as function and ease of install. Thanks for being an active supporter man! I really do appreciate it
Just hooked mine up and there not doing the sequential with my v4 tails I did the wiring the same as you not sure what I’m doing wrong the brake lights and signals are flashing when I do the signal on both sides
1:10 broke my heart what u did to doggo ): Edit: when you use those splicers always cover them with cable tape. It seals the cables inside and water can’t go thru
So you didn’t have to remove any screws or anything before removing the plastic honeycomb piece right? Just use the tool to unclip it? Just making sure because I saw another video where they removed 2 screws before removing the honeycomb piece
There is a screw on the smaller end of the honeycomb piece, but I didn’t need to fully remove the part to install the light tbh. You can’t access the screw unless you remove the bumper.
If I’m being honest with you, I don’t even know how I got them off lol. I pretty much just pried around until I saw the clips, and then I used another pry to move further down and undo the next clip, etc, etc. It was one of the hardest parts I’ve ever tried to remove from the car 😭
I don’t have sensors on my car, so I can’t help much there. But I had a hole on each end that I passed the wires through if I’m not mistaken. It’s been awhile since I made that video.
After wiring, did you connect wiring of both sides first before turning on lights or did you test 1 side at a time? My rear bumper lights weren't turning on after only wiring one side.
I think I did one side and tried it, but I didn’t have any issues with it as far as wiring. If you didn’t get the same ones as me, it may come with a different wiring diagram to follow.
@@supahdup1126 After I put all the wires according to diagram, I turned on the car and tried testing rear bumper lights. It didn't work and then my front headlights started flickering on and off. I don't think I did anything wrong and now my electricity in car is dead.
Bro if I’m being honest with you, I have no idea. You’re not the only one who commented saying they had some issues with their lights, but I didn’t have any of those problems whatsoever tbh.... Maybe just uninstall and resplice the wires back together and heat shrink it back to stock to at least get your car back up and running. Hope you get the issue resolved brother, sorry it took a turn for the worse.....
These are the ones I bought from autozone. Idk why the first picture is of a rim, but this is the exact ones I bought 👍🏼. link: www.autozone.com/ignition/electrical-wire-connector/dorman-conduct-tite-blue-18-14-gauge-quick-surplice/18663_0_0
Hey man! I love the video but I have a question. I bought the same lights and same quick splice connectors and did the full install. I can't seem to get them working though, do you know any reason?
You bought the same exact ones? 1) the light may be different so the wiring diagram may be as well...2)faulty/broken light.... or 3) maybe you didn’t splice correctly? I’m not too sure man, I’d say just double check over everything. Worst come to worst just replace the lights if they’re broken!
@@supahdup1126 Yeah but the smoked version. I was thinking maybe it was faulty lights also. the pins on the quick splice connectors should go all the way down right? To make the connection to transfer the power source?
Correct, as long as both wires are getting crimped it should work. Could be faulty lights tho fr, lol. Could be disconnected from within the housing of the light.
@@supahdup1126 Damn lol i'll try with a new set of lights and hope it was just a faulty pair. Again love the videos bro! Please keep going and appreciate the quick replies!
Just started giving me issues here recently, but got them working again. The directions are pretty straight forward though, no need to cut anything if you use the clips. I promise I suck at electrical 😂
@@supahdup1126 Just out of curiosity what is the spliceless method looking at doing this mod to my civic and I do not want to have to splice into my wiring harness.
I like how very simple this man is. Doesn’t say extra stuff ! Straight to the point good stuff man
Just trying to be helpful without bullshitting too much lol! I got the lights off of amazon btw... linked them in the description! Thankyou for watching!!!!
Just bought this in the same colour too. Sonic grey pearl is definitely the best colour although we may be biased 😂
I can’t wait to get a car like this one
You will get you one!
Wow I want them for my Honda Civic hatchback sport. They look great on your whip. Thanks for the great video my friend.
They have them on Amazon for cheap! I appreciate the kind words man, thankyou for the wholesome comment 🖤
Nice lights, nice walk through on disassembly and wiring I may just have to get a set of these there pretty nice and look fairly easy to install.

As soon as you started talking I said "Southwest Louisiana" haha. I dig these lights man.
You nailed it, lol 😂. I don’t even realize I have an accent tbh. But Thankyou man!
😂😂💀💀
Excellent job bro!!! Great video!! You just upped their sales.
Hey man Thankyou for the kind words!
Those niche wheels looks awsome
Thankyou, they’re no 3 piece but still cool!
Thanks men just today arrive the mine I help me a lot this video

Went back in later on and taped them all up just to be sure
Hey do you have to connect all the wires in order to see if it works? I connected 1 wire to check if it worked and nothing happened.
So you didn’t have to remove any screws or anything before removing the plastic honeycomb piece right? Just use the tool to unclip it? Just making sure because I saw another video where they removed 2 screws before removing the honeycomb piece

Can you do a video showing where you insert the tools to take off the fake vents

@@supahdup1126 haha nah bro all good I figured out by just using hella force! The vid helped with the wiring though so appreciate chu
@@Justin-hd1cb for sure bro, glad I could help in any way 🤝
Where do you insert the wire into the bar, I have the parking sensor. Do you know how to remove the sensor?

Thanks brotha 🖤

Awesome video. Which screws did you use coz mine didnt come with any of them. Thanks
I don’t remember the exact ones, but I’m sure you could use some self tappers or just any tiny screw from the hardware store brotha!
So good!!
I’m working at it man! Thankyou for the positive feedback!
wish i knew someone who can help me with wiring them. i have no knowledge in stripping etc
How do you remove the clips
You just press a trim tool in the middle of the tabs and it should release
Very nice.
Thankyou broski!
I wanna do that on mine just got s type r rear
Pretty simple install and makes all the difference!
Hey will this void the civic warranty? Thanks!
I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure the only thing that voids it is engine mods and things of that nature.
Can you put a link to those splicers pls?

Hey bro! What gauge quick splice connectors did you use? 18-14?
I’m not sure brother, I went to autozone based off of a picture I saw on another video lol.
They don't work on the 2021 SPORT model. The light is way too loose, even with a screw......
I wonder if they’ll make some new ones specifically for the new models 🤔
how are they holding ?

Still don’t show how to put the wires together :/
From what I’ve been seeing everybody’s wiring setup is different. I showed the diagram specific to the ones I bought, sorry it wasn’t helpful enough 😔
