i dont think they changed their name, they were probably doing what Rainbow Six hackers do, they make their account appear as somebody elses account so that when that account gets banned its the innocent person that gets banned not them, the rainbow six devs figured this out already.

Cheating has made this game unplayable on console.
I once spot an hanzo who is a cheater, always pre aim and shot me. So I switch to sombra and yes he still pre aim shoot on me and even aim at me through the wall while I was an invisible at the conner of the map and has no contact to anyone yet. But regardless he suck as hell.
Instead of flats spectating and analyzing himself on overwatch matches, he could be analyzing a diet

Name changing is useless if they are trying to dodge bans, game systems keep records of your previous aliases and you can still be identified despite changing names. As game admins. we'd like to let you know that WE HAVE RECORDS OF "EVERYTHING" YOU DO "IN GAME". It's just a matter of having your number be flagged by player reports or the anti-cheat system finding anomalies from you for us to open up your account data and confirm if the flag was valid or a false positive. WE WILL ALWAYS KNOW.

I could be wrong on this but so you are aware people that play on steam have there in game name shower ip differently to when you inspect the profile so idk if it dose the same thing in game replays. For example I have had people typing in text chat and when I go on there career profile it has the original blizzard name. I also have this cos I play on stream and it’s the same when I go to look at leader borers after the game my name shows up blank next to my damage and other stats et cetera. I’m not defending them but just wanted to make sure your aware of this ❤️❤️❤️
