What was YOUR favorite memory and what will you miss about Overwatch 1?
I will miss Papa Jeff, he was the best part of OW1 T^T

I will literally not miss a thing
Just the big community it used to have. All the twitch streamers getting into games with each other, the cozy holidays with Jeff by the fireplace and Winter Wonderland events. It was all so fun.
@@RedDragoon good news for you then. Twitch Streamers will still be gaming together in Overwatch 2 (KarQ, Emongg, Eskay, Jay3, etc. have been doing it all week in Overwatch 2), and the Winter Wonderland event (plus all the others) will still exist in Overwatch 2 as well.

How did the guy kill people with Lucio beat???
@@Chandler33 It was an experimental patch a few months ago where lucio ult could do enough damage to kill a tank (by landing on their head), theres a few videos of it if you search

Can we appreciate how unbiased this compilation, I can’t pick out the favorite streamer of who put it together and how it wasn’t just old clips but also newer clips. Not just nostalgic moments and favorite streamer clips

@@TraeBaldwin If I do play, it's going to be for the PvE. Gundam Evolution is what I'm swapping to because I really like the feel of the game compared to OW2. Also it's 6v6 and doesn't have hero classes.

To Every Other Tank Player I've ever queued with, thank you for bubbling me when i charge in for a dumb play, Thank you for synergising in the best possible ways with our heroes, I will miss Rein Zarya, Hog and Ball, Orisa Sigma, and every other combo, I hope every tank main actually thrives in OW2, It's gonna be a weird feeling

Me and my twin always played tank together and while it is sad to see 2 tanks go I’m excited for OW2. I’ll never forget us rolling kids as rein and zar.

Even though I basically stopped playing the game after 2020 by only playing during the events after that year, this game will always have a special place in my heart. I hate and love this game so much. It’s 10:40PM right now here in NYC. I’m gonna spend the remaining time playing this game. Ik overwatch 2 will come out after a day. But I made a lot of good memories playing this game. The best years for this game was from 2016-2018.

February of 2017 Sophomore year one of my friends got Xbox. My other friends and I started playing Xbox together and Overwatch was one of our first games played together and is a game that will stay in our hearts forever. We’re excited for OW2 and the new memories we will make. That game got us through some tough times and always brought us together

To every casual player i have ever played with, you deserve my highest regards. To every support demon, you've carried us extraordinarily on the field. To the friends that i have made along the journey, i'm glad we met through the game. To the pro players such as XQC, Aquamarine, and Wanted, i thank you all individually for the memories. It's been a major honor to be a part of the original OW.

After watching the video and at approximately 9 hours away from the overwatch servers shutdown to overwatch 2, I can tell that something clearly changed and has been missing ever since season 10. The enthusiasm, fun and energy that game brought us for so many years has somehow evaporated and has never truly been found again and will probably never be found again. Here’s to a great game who died 4 years ago and to all the players still hoping it’s successor will be able to bring that spark back. Good luck everyone. See you all on other games.
at first i was really sad i mean i spent 5 years on this version. and actually i'm not a fan of big changes but i have to say playing overwatch 1 was just exhausting. all these changes took the fun out of me i also had very strong lags no idea why. I am very positive about overwatch 2 at the moment. the customization of the heroes is very awesome! and i have no lags even though the servers are overloaded
but i had a lot of fun moments and grew with this game. and i miss jeff 😔

There was a time in my life when all I did was play overwatch. Be that with my mate Tom or on myself playing as mainly Ana and healing my team to victory. It's a shame that era is over but as much as I raged and threw my controller I truly did love this game and Jeff. At some point this game was very special to me, special for all of us. Thank you everyone I ever played with (yes even you annoying ass Torbjorn mains and Hammond mains).
I hope to see you in overwatch 2 for a new era of overwatch :)

but sometimes you wanna play the first game, which is worse, older, uglier, but it still has its charm, it kinda feels like home where you've been living in childhood, you just want to visit those places again even if you won't play on a backyard or in park, you won't visit your old place cuz there are family living here now and it's probably renovated so much you won't even recognize the place but it's still a place you will visit if you're in town and if you have good memories about it

It was only for a short while on Experimental mode
I'm tearing up rn bro. Overwatch has been my most played game of all time, no game has come close and I don't know if any game ever will. Sure I hate the game with every fiber of my being and I feel the years being sucked from my life but it's all worth it for that wonderful POTG.
Sure I'm looking forward to OW2 but will it be as special? Only time will tell.
