I can never see this game without expecting to see some random unarmored X come out of left field with its hands and forehead gem glowing, and just murder everyone on the screen.
While the concept is cool, the gameplay really doesn't work in my opinion simply because your field of view is so limited and so it's utter chaos trying to fight someone one-on-one if they keep going off screen. Making it more like Super Smash Bros. with a camera that can dynamically zoom in and out to show all the players at once would make it far better.

Battle royale isn’t the same. Deathmatches in games allow you to respawn while battle royale just removes that which is ironic af
... Actual main game mod to play Vile like this when? Cause it'd be hella awesome to play as Vile through SNES style.
