Also surprisingly many characters managed this. Bowser's run speed is still kinda scary in this game lol.
Love how the animation cycle on Pac-Man's run matches up with the sped up framerate.
The fact Bowser can make it by JUST running but Squirtle can't without using Side B is honestly shocking.
I think that’s bowsers gimmick, he’s a fast super heavy, but that’s just my opinion
well i mean.... they are 2 completely different characters, bowser is much larger and heavier, which means he is likely much stronger, and that lets him run faster, all that together means HE can make it, but squirtle can't, it's not like they are similar characters or any of that, sure they are both turtles but that doesn't matter at all
Squirtle runs at the same speed as Mario, but Bowser on the other hand runs significantly faster than Mario.
I can’t speak for his speed, but I can speak for the fact that he’s one of the heaviest characters on the roster. And being heavier would make it so being moved by wind is a whooole lot harder.

I was confused how adding a slope could justify an entirely new video with this challenge, but then I compared the results. It seems like running up a slope is actually slightly faster. For example, bowser actually made it this time. On the other hand, some moves seem to behave differently on a slope. For example, jigglypuffs rollout failed horribly this time around.
I think the difference is mostly the fac that the wind isn't at a 90 degrees angle, and doesn't actually push more, it actually pushes less due to how the wind physics work.

Some fighters has the advantage when I first attempted it! People need to know these tips for some fighters!
Rosalina can only make it to 10 because her Up special can boost her slightly but it wasn’t enough to get through it she’s close!
Terry Bogard is the only person who can barely reach to 10 because if you can accumulate his damage percentage to 100%, Watch very closely to the fire spread as he tries to slides up the slopes meaning it’s still count as reach higher slope!
Mii Swordfighter can really reach to 9 because if you use Power Thrust it can boost your speed to it!
Mii Gunner can use Arm Rocket to boost herself if you diagonally your input downward!
Simon or Richter can reach to 9, their Down tilt can help slide as you press the input again you can barely see their leg reaching to it but be aware that they still need to use it to their advantage!
Corrin’s Dragon Lunge can barely help her reach to 9, Once you about to reach it, Use your side-special quickly as you can!
Luigi is the next fighter! He’s is barely close to his brother! He can only reach to 9 if you’re lucky enough to get a misfire for him! Just keep trying until you get it!
Bayonetta is luckily to reach 10 because if you use Burner Kick while airborne you can barely boost her! Never judge a woman athletic capabilities!
Ike can use Quick Draw as he barely reaches to 9! Use it carefully or else he’ll get push back from strong wind!

39 Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters did make it on the wind challenge tierlist, but 50 Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters did not.
I really love how based on the animation it's a lot easier for others to make it through.
The tradditional running fighters are basically fighting the wind, and therefore can't always keep up with it. Only a few like Sonic and Fox can fight/outspeed through it.
While the Gliding/Floaty runners glide through the wind, making it much more easier to make it up the slope.
Kind of like the difference between a swimmer fighting the currents in a tide and a surfer riding the waves.

Speed and Weight seem to be the biggest factors here.
In Smash, that applies to multiple fighters pushing each other with their running speed. And for wind areas, it's all about speed, wind immunity and nothing more.
Makes sense to do some challenges to see how high or far away can somebody hit mario (or other character) on a fixed % (0, 50, 100) even only using certain moves (only specials, only smashes or tilts etc...) I thing it would be very interesting to see..!
I'm glad Prowders subs per view are going up. With all the hard work they put in, they deserve it.

Anyone else prefer these tier list challenges to the basic ones? I like the read out at the end of where everyone is placed...though I do like the one character only challenges as well(and the all but one)
How come you never have Kirby do challenges with Shulk's monado arts anymore? I feel like Kirby with Speed would've made it
I think it's cuz it's technically NOT kirby's ability. He just copied Shulk's homework to pass.
Basically, outside help such as Kirby's Copy Abilities are usually against the rules.

You mean wolf and falco? If so, I think so because their side bs aren’t affected by wind boxes. A little silly he didn’t use them considering he used DK’s up b to help him.
Ganondorf's Down B and Mii Swordfighter's Gale Stab (forward special) fully charged should also be able to get pass the strong winds because they disregard wind too
I'm pretty sure at least half of the characters that failed could have made it had they done a move at the end.
Yeah, I gotta admit that he hasn’t been very consistent with following his rules for the characters lately, but he’s going through a lot with personal issues, which affects his time to make these videos. He just hasn’t mentioned it in any of his videos yet.

If DK can use his Grounded UP B to beat the wind, then other fighters should use their special moves as well.

I don't understand the inconsistencies here. You let some characters use their side-specials and up-specials to win, but not others.
Some Special moves make significant differences depending on speed rather than distance alone, and some Special moves are immune to wind. However, he still should've tried more moves such as Zelda's Special moves (which are all immune to wind when used in midair), Falco & Wolf's Side Special moves (which are fast considering how close they were), etc.

Fox-trot is when you dash continuously instead of just running, which some characters did in this video. Wavedash on the other hand wasn't used in this video at all.

This game makes no sense. Characters who float/hover when they run should be WORSE at these! They have no physical force to brace themselves against the wind, friction should be a key element of success! Stop breaking the laws of physics, the fines are astronomical!
