So thankful to have come across your great content! Your specific experiences as stander and as prodigal have answers I as a stander, have not found elsewhere.

Hi Daniel. Yes.. the dis-respectfulness shown by prodigals is indeed hurtful and hard to bear. Let the example of our Lord serve to inspire as you continue this journey. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Isaiah 53:3

@@tnj4ever well maybe they had their run. IDK but I always remember how the lady of this podcast, Amy, she described how nonsensical and inexplicable the mindset of the prodigal is. Her testimony of the deception that is at hand has always been a helpful insight to me.
God bless them. Also, it is still worth saying how insane things were in 2020 bd beyond. Just beside them talk about extreme social distancing, man… it’s still 🤯
Also this verse about offense reminds me of the Bait of Satan by John Bravere

@@Hartbeat1555In my case through betrayal trauma, leading to ptsd symptoms, chronic stress/distress has a knock on affect on the body, heart palpitations, anxiety, leading to autoimmune disorders. etc. also it’s a part of the offending spouse that they hid from their spouse, this changes how you see your spouse and you no longer consider them safe, yet bi locally we are to meet our spouses sexual needs…women as a general rule need to feel safe to submit that way and so she forces herself to do it even though she doesn’t want to because she’s disconnected from him…having to share her body with a man she no longer trusts. It’s all trauma. Most men do not even consider what effect it has on their wife. It’s absolutely devastating, there’s a reason Jesus calls it adultery. It’s just as damaging as physical adultery.

My wife completely neglected me. She gave me sex but only for a few months into marriage after that she shut down for the next 5 yrs. Then left me for her family. The more I think about the past the more I don't see a future. My wife is THE most coldest individual I've ever known. If God heals her i wont ever doubt anything He does ever again.

    Wish found this sooner
My wife had affair 2019 and I tried and seemed like we are at the end now
2019 and 2020 we were rebuilding and trying
2021 her ap got married and the anger and abuse was too much for me to handle
2022 March she took my daughter and left
8 weeks now I’m suffering alone and can’t believe how I failed to save our marriage and family
Tried professing my love new Diamond, usually family trips but 2021 /0222 succumbed to her abuse and anger
I really prayed and loved and thought Christ like love would bring her back but couldn’t

I know you have to forgive 70 times 70 but my prodigal hated and left 2 times how much and when do you say enough is enough? I love him 25 yr marriage i forgive him but can't trust him. Too many people die in married. When someone show you who they are believe them, you can forgive but dont be a fool.

It's a process, don't rush it, it takes time. Just walk your walk, do what He tells you when you get something from Jesus. Most importantly, write everything He tells you down, because this will have something to do with what you need to focus on, and hold onto.
Be strong now, you'll get there. This is your assignment, so keep your eyes on Him, and what He says to you. Don't look at the water.
What your going through with your emotions is normal, you'll be up n down, left n right, that's normal because your hurt n broken.
Slowly, Jesus is going to change your perspective on how you see, and did and how you reacted to things. Is a process, trust the process, He will lead you through it, but as I said, it'll take time.
The fact that you left a comment, shows your doing better than you think. See, Jesus was right about you when He chose you.
Here's a scripture, right it down, one-day your going to get the understanding of it, and it'll blow your mind. But, that's for the future you.
      1 John 4:19
We love, because He first loved us.
When I see you up there, I want to hear all about. Can't wait..!

Practicing righteousness in the Lord will make perfect!
You got to actually practice righteousness no different than learning to lift weights. When you lifting weights you start of low and work your way up to heavier weights as you get stronger and progress.
Same principle in walking in the Spirit.
That bitterness will be turned into forgiveness. Be honest with God about yourself and bless whoever offended you with your lips. It's starts off hard but eventually you will mean it and be over it.
      Amen.
      God bless.

I'm learning that forgiveness is not about the other person, is for us. Think about it... if you forgive, you will be in peace, you will grow spiritually. Every time the pain and memories of it come back, choose to forgive... the nemories will always be there, you have to keep choosing to forgive ❤
