Norma Taught Him About Love

You don't often hear a farmer talk about love. Donnie Waters has been farming since he was 7. Dairy cows, hogs, row crops, a nursery... he's learned all kinds of things, but Norma taught him about love.

In the process of that substitution horses and mules mostly suffered a fate they didn't deserve after all the loyal work they had delivered to farms.

My dad started his hog business in the early 70's. He bought feeder pigs at $5.00 apiece.
I really appreciate the stories these farmers share. Coming from a farm family it's interesting to hear others experience.
