A comment from a coach long ago when I was learning open turns, you have to actively pull your legs in to the wall, rather than depending on your forward momentum to help you fold up.
Thank you for the demonstration for the butterfly at the end of the video because im a swimmer who was starting to do butterfly at each swim meet so thank you!
❤ ps- thank you kaylie for such a fascinating and expert well exampled explanation so i can hopefully drop some seconds off of my current lame and very slow 4 secondish turn, especially since i cant do roll turns or whatever they are called, so i am going to have to make the open turn as good as possible :)
Hi Kaylee! I loved seeing the waterline showing when halfway underwater when I see you swimming! But I mostly loved seeing the waterline showing when going all the way underwater from halfway underwater when you were turning around and staying underwater watching you swimming laps a couple times! That was lovely and beautiful!🐋🦋🌸💕🥰🐠🌊👍❤️🐳🙂👙💧🌷🌺😊😍💦😘🐬🐟
I disagree slightly in that a rear-weighted start is a legit practice, particularly for those who are powerful. If their reaction time is sound and they get more distance in the air then it is appropriate. But, it is not merely leaning back.

The friendliness of Kaylie really makes the dread of practicing butterfly less...well...dreadful. 😂
"I am a pro", no no way!~ now I haven't time to practice, just watching.
what is the name of the swimming goggles ??
They look to me like the Magic5 Custom swimming goggles.

Спасибо за ролик королева бассейна
Strong thumbnail.
Video increased my stroke count though.
Also you must make sure you are towards the breast when leaving the wall.

If it amounts to more distance in the air then it is justified. Tune in to ASCA.@@МихаилСемёнов-к9о
