I love these throwback games
I'm a massive cardinals fan but I would kill to see an Earl Campbell game
Mehoy Minyoy the early 2000s are underrated Ravens with Lewis Bucs with barber and brooks Greatest show on turf NFC division champs eagles Pats early dynasty Rich Gannon and the Raiders and the early colts
Amen
I am a 49ers fan but Steve McNair was my favorite QB of ALL TIME!! he didnt have a ton of talent on offense for most of his career. he ALWAYS played hurt, was tough and the leader of the team.... I dont know why the NFL ignores his career for the most part.. he was murdered and didnt do anything illegal
he's black...
I dont know if I agree, not a ton of QBs were putting up numbers the way they do now.... he won a lot of games... not sure if you watched alot of Titans games... he would come in games when they were done and lead them to vistory after not starting due to injury
Slevin He is my favourite all time player. He couldve been even better if he was on a team that wasn't run heavy. An NFL writer even said that with different coaching (Jeff Fisher was their coach) he could be one of the greatest of all time.
you must have alot of free time
you kidding me? lol McNair over any QB in that time period.
Geez Steve McNair was something else.
McNair doesn’t get the true respect I think when QB are talked about this day and time,
Regardless of his personal life the man appeared to me decent and easy approachable!
On the field play speaks for its self. YOU COULD COUNT ON HIM, are you listening Mariota!
mariota is the only reason yall are even relevant lmao
@@heaven1189 Wow, that comment aged like milk
I agree I mean Moon is a HOF but I think ‘Air’ McNair is way better I think/hope he’ll be in the HOF he deserves after all he did take the Titans to their only super bowl shit even Moon didn’t do that
FuckRoys did you forget about Derrick Henry?

We lost a great man, and a great football player...
When football was a man’s game. RIP Steve McNair
Rip Mcnair
I miss QB's going under center with two back.
Well, Jon Gruden has been adding it in his offense so you might see it again now
I believe the 2007 Pats ignited the shift to shotgun.
@@connormccann4860 Raiders
The game used to be so much more aesthetically pleasing altogether the NFL now looks like high school football plenty of really athletic guys but the game is just uglier to watch.
Sorry bruh that's called " Real American Football " we no longer play that down here on Planet Earth 😂
Damn , that was a star-studded defense. Sapp, Brooks, Lynch, Rice, Barber. Damn
That bucs defense was fun to watch week after week
War eagle
It was an entertaining defense to watch. An offense would start finding holes in the secondary, moving the ball down the field making me worried....and surprise, sack fumble by simeon rice or an Interception by Ronde Barber or Derrick Brooks
But they had a big weakness and certain teams would really exploit it....(power running game behind a really big offensive line
If I recall correctly, that defense recorded at least one sack and one interception a game for over 2 whole seasons. One of the most underrated defenses of all time. Everyone talks about the 2000 Ravens, 85 Bears, 2013 Legion of Boom, but not many mention the 2002 Bucs as an all time great defense.
As a Bucs fan, I hate when my team loses but mad respect to Air McNair and this game as a whole. So physical.
Air McNair 🙌 some great times God I miss these days I wish we could have won a Super Bowl with this team Rip Steve Air McNair 🙌 #TitanUp
Great game. RIP Steve McNair
The crowd sounds like a jet engine. How did we ever listen to that for 3hrs?
It's just bad compression
it sounds beautiful
The Titan fans used to get loud!
The Freak! Jevon Kearse was one of my favorite players. I truly miss football from the late 90’s early 2000’s. Brings back great memories of me Being a youngster trying to imitate all my favorite players. Good times. RIP Air McNair.
All sports seemed better in the late 90s early 2000s
@@ogreman-lll-957 yep the freak ran a 4.4 at combine I think when he came outa Florida and was first round pick this year they paired him with Kevin carter from rams
You're not alone
Something much more manly about the nfl back then. The way it was played.
i feel the same way...
Smashmouth Football
Manly? Such a strange thing to say. What does that even mean? Players cried and complained back then, too. If you are referring to the rules, things are somewhat different, but "manliness" isn't somehow lost now.
I really hate nostalgia sometimes.
Yep men were more manly then
It was definitely more manly back then
LOL I love the curve the ball took on that game winning FG. Beautiful!
Back then, the Bucs & Titans had *GORGEOUS uniforms* 😩
They haven't aged well heading into the 2X20s
That's because the way Nike makes jerseys is U-G-L-Y
Been watching throwbacks left and right lately
These years are the best ones
Same
I counted 19 penalties by today's NFL standards.
Dead serious too. Watched it like 30 times.
It's amazing how much the game has changed.
Bucs needed shaun king lmao
Air McNair was an absolute beast one of the toughest players I have ever seen on the field but that Tampa Bay defense was the truth as well I know he didn't win the superbowl with them but Tony Dungy needs more credit he built that team!
5:48 ridiculous throw by Air McNair 😯
brad johnson actually made some big time throws on that game tying drive
fr
I actually don't have memories of this one. I'll have to watch the highlights closely. Thanks again for this great channel!
This was the last era of great football just listen to the background that’s hard hitting
The golden days of nfl
I remember this game well. I was in 6th grade. One of my classmates was a titans fan. Never let me hear the end of it
Wow forgot this game you remember the glory days like me lol
I love watching these old games wit the eagles and titans those are my two teams it’s cool to see the old teams from the early 2000s
Hell ya
I'm surprised this video hasn't been taken down by the NFL. God forbid, the players are actually hitting each other.
THE BATMAN This is one of the NFL's official TH-cam channels.............
Michael I was being sarcastic
Hard to tell as it's TH-cam
@@brandonkeisler86 I didn't know that until I Checked the description
Haha good one.
The eagles lions game with the blue and yellow uniforms? I don't think they've worn those since..

Lorenzo neal tony richardson era
Already know we part of that notification squad! Another classic this bucs D was nassstttyyyyy but McNair had em shook
R.I.P Steve Mcnair
Wow, back when Jeff Fisher was actually a decent coach
3:40 that was impressive you don't see hurry up FGs succeed very often
jeff fisher was an really good ST coach. The titans used to do this allll the time.
Rip Steve McNair
Alcorn st first overall pick 1995 almost heisman which tells ya how great he was
RIP #9 Steve Air Mc.Nair
I can hear the hits. I can hear the offensive line and defensive line collide in a way that I don't hear today.
These guys were MEN amongst men back then.
The players now are mostly men. There are too many guys holding out of camp because they want a higher paying contract. Childish.
Right because players never held out over money issues back then. 😒👎The NFL is a business so why should they risk injury when they don't have a secure contract?
McNair must have gotten crushed on that drive since he was out at least a play on that final drive of the first half
This was a bad year for the Titans, but thankfully one of the few they had with McNair. If he had more weapons around him with that D he'd have at least 2 rings. But oh well.
Exactly!!!!
deserves to be in HOF, he's being punished for not having talent around him
Air McNair so deserves to be in the Hall of Fame
So many great players...
Great game but I hate it when the home team wears their away jerseys and vice versa.
McNair must of gotten demolished to have to leave until the 2nd half but mad respect to him for coming back and still winning the game!! He’s hall of fame worthy!! Rip McNair😔
Eddie george and warrick dunn two great running backs in this game
How about the 2005 bengals @ Steelers game? That game was very entertaining with both offenses showing off their abilities
NFL game of the week is a show you guys should bring back, or a least show again.
Superbowl '99 was amazing but if the match up in 99 was BUCS Titans we wouldve seen a show too!
I loved Air Mc.Nair
RIP to iconic quarterback Steve McNair
Offsides on a field goal and a punt both turn into touchdowns. 11 points handed to the Bucs. And this is teams could play defense.
Game should have been 28-3(the late touchdowns would not have mattered), but you got to keep playing and it turned into a classic.
possibly 35 - 3 if they didnt over turn the titans touchdown
Keyshawn Johnson & Steve McNair was really under appreciated players
Why the hell was this Titans team 7-9?
Age and playoff runs caught up
@@ericsigersmith6067 no they were very good in 2002 and 2003. They didn’t have a defense this year
if the substitution of Mcnair for O'Donnell at 3:33 was not for an injury but instead to have the holder on the field already due to the lack of timeouts , then that is the most competent thing Jeff Fisher has ever done as a coach
This could've and should've been the super bowl in 1999. This bucs defense held the greatest show on turf to 11 points in the nfc title game that year
Title should say Bucs' not Buc's. Their defense was legendary in the early 2000s.
Fixed!
Titans defense was DOMINANT too around this time (99 - 01)
back when Qbs were actually football players worthy of respect
This is a great Titan team. Eddie George is one of the greatest RBs in NFL history, and Steve McNair would have been one if the best QBs in NFL History, if what happend, didn't
He died after he retired though so idk what you're talking about
Idk why but I love McNair’s cadence
McNair was dissecting the defense
Air mcnair was a bad dude indeed
And a classy guy
Do you have the 2002 matchup between Denver and Kansas City. The game was in Arrowhead and went to overtime. If you have access to those highlights, that would be awesome.
The Shannon Sharpe game.
Rest in power
Remember when the Buccaneers were good and McNair wasn't killed by his mistress who worked at Dave and Busters?

rip air mcnair . love ya boss
RIP McNair - such a tragic death.
We (Titans) had a down year in 2001, Eddie didn't rush for a thousand and wasn't the same. We did bounce back in 2002 and 03 (McNair co-mvp season). I miss the Titans of Old.
This is our year buddy!!!!!

LMFAO it's kind of sad that this channel is infinitely better than the official NFL TH-cam channel. At least this channel actually uploads videos that are actually fun to watch, with all of the early seasons of hard knocks and these videos of classic games from the late 90's and early 2000's. The official NFL TH-cam channel barely ever uploads actual football, instead they upload clip after clip from the NFL Network of analysts sitting around a desk and making lame ass predictions of the upcoming season. Seriously though, there are way too many shows on the NFL network devoted to nothing more than 3 or 4 former players and some female for diversity giving their opinions on which player will do this or that better than last year, and trying to predict the order in which each team will finish in their division. Don't get me wrong, I love shows like inside the NFL and NFL primetime, but there are just way too many shows that are basically the same exact shows, just with different panels and a slightly different format, especially because the NFL network is on 24 hours a day 365 days a year, even during the off-season when there's no football and they have to try and fill up 24 hours of programming. They should take a clue from this channel and just run classic games all the time instead of every once in awhile.
Last time meeting between houston oilers and tampa bay buccaneers 1983
They played while the titans were in Houston in 89 and 95
Field Goal Fisher. Should have went for it!!!!
Simeon rice was good
The good ol days, when football was about the sport, not publicity
Tennessee barely got past Tampa Bay here.
They would've been smashed in 2002 though.
Fuck What You're Talking About ! Nah titans would have won.
@@LittleBenjaminNeocon183 Nah Bucs were Super Bowl champs that year
@@deadkiller008PKNah Super bowl chumps.
@@LittleBenjaminNeocon183 How can you win a Super Bowl and be chumps? Rather win it by a blow out than lose it by 7 and one yard.
@@MrXxAssasinxx How you ask? By playing a team that gave the game away on purpose like the Oakland Raiders did. Titans would have crush those panty waist chumps from Tampa Bay. #SuperBowlchumps.

Allowing 31 to the Titans. Not very dominant 😂
Enigmalake this was McNair and Eddie. Dominant Titans squad had a good game against a dominant defense.
The Titans were really good in the early 2000s. This season they were just 7-9, but they were 13-3 in each of the two seasons before this one and 11-5 and 12-4 in the two seasons after it. This is not the joke of a Titans team we've seen for the last decade.
I get that. I remember them. Thing is to be truly dominant you can’t be allowing 30 plus points. Sorry.
Enigmalake Titans got 23 on the 2000 Ravens. That’s 1 touchdown difference. And that is an all time defense. And Jags put up 36 that year on Ravens.
there was a span where the titans put up over 30 like 8 games in a row, i believe it was the year after this one. Ppl just don't realize how DOMINATE this offense was.
