Tyler Tran if you are taking 36cc into account, riders weight should also be considered then.. 36cc don't make a huge difference.. and that Kawasaki guy way really over weight :D
i dont wanna be bias or anything but in reality the kawasaki is faster dont get me wrong i love the r6 especially its roar!

+Nick 636n8r I never jump. It's the angle of the GoPro and there's nothing I can do to resolve it besides start 1/2 bike behind and I'm not doing that. Nick agreed they were fair starts.

but yea man none the less good races i love how the r6 comes with the quickshifter stock idk why kawi doesnt do that with the 636. I love the one on my gen5 10r i had my tuner adjust it with the woolich software and its so perfect now lol

The cbr would get trashed bro, I have a 2018 zx6r, my buddy and coworker a fireblade, its no match powerwise, both the yammi and the zx6 are bike eating monsters, that even put up a fight against litter bikes.

vaanchit kundlia meh! I wouldn't say better. Kawi should obviously be faster it does have a slightly bigger engine but acceleration?there is a reason the R6 hadn't changed in the past 8-10 years. It's been kicking ass on the track with 10 year old tech. The new R6 is basically the same bike as the previous generation. I have had both Zx6r and R6. Love them both. I couldn't boldly state one is better than the other. Amazing machines!!
Can't Wheelie Rob true that r6 smokes everything in a track but its cus it is more track focused thats why less comfortable.. it has more aggressive riding position which is a pro and a con.. but Kawasaki does have slightly better acceleration.. and slightly bigger engine agreed but if you are considering a 30cc around difference in them, then consider the weight of the rider too.. i have ridden both and still feel Kawasaki has better acceleration but yea both bikes kick ass. and im not biased or anything.. cheers
vaanchit kundlia i must say I am biased... I love Kawasaki, have owned a few gens of the Zx6r and have rode a 2015 636. Only recently I purchased my first Yamaha, an R6 which I've been riding for a little over a year. I love that bike and you're right it is a bit aggressive. Like anything it does have cons but it has more pros. Although I would not hesitate to get a 636, i still wouldn't say kawi makes a better bike. But it's all personal opinions. Am I right? Ride safe brotha!

LOVE the kawaSEXI so much and god damn it if that Kawi green on a bike isn't one of my favorite things That being said the engine of the 15 and newer R1s with the Crossplane Crankshaft just atleast to me in my opinion can't be beat. It feels simply amazing in you're hand.

3:50 that slow your roll race is a good test of clutch control brake control and balance all great things to work on for riding the streets. A cruiser makes it easy though being so long and low it practically balances itself and all you need to do is keep it rolling. looks like good fun though.

Very comparable bikes, it came down to skill (traffic getting in the way, and one guy jumping the gun...,) The aging (2013-2018) 636 is just such a fantastic machine, possibly the best 600 super-sport that will ever be.

And when you start the 'subtle roll-on', right BEFORE the arm drop, thats anticipating the jump as we call it. Its obvious. It does help with getting in the powerband sooner, and winning. But its still a form of anticipating the actual 'GO'. Not slamming on ya man. Just being straight up about what i see and know from almost 40 years of being a rider and racer. Great vids! Awesome runs IB! pretty much even runs, but the Kawi got you in the top end. The quick shifter on the R6 definitely helps out and it seems like that is what's holding Nick back.
Next time your in Cali buddy and have your R6 or 675r. I want to do a smack down with my 16 636. It has an ECU flash with a quick shifter

Those races were super close. That 636 is one heck of a bike, I hate green though. I wish they'd bring back the red colorway. Homegirl at the cruiser crawl was pretty dope in a emo, biker, hipster kinda way lol

The extra 37cc's power is all in the mid range that's the way it was designed, so it isn't really much of an advantage

quick shifters help loads. you never let off the throttle so you never decel that 1-2mph you always do without a qs after 3 gear shifts you've already had to make up speed you've lost. that 636 moves

Hi guys.... no disrespect. Its all relative. First of all the riders weight and second of all more displacement does not equate to more power.... remember, a riders skill also must be considered, he also has a stock exhaust and no quickshifter.

one thing is though with the 636 he was in abs setting 1. It makes a hell of a difference if you turn it off or flash the bike

Forget the 'go pro angle' excuse, thats transparent. Others on youtube dont complain of said phantom problem. Listen to the engine notes change at 6:52 of the vid compared to the arm drop. Thats a jump. Period. Its a bad habit. Riding is about truth. Period. We should as riders and racers hold ourselves to a higher standard. Dont cheat. Its bad form. We all get antsy on the throttle, but a red light start is a red light start. Just my 2c. Like the vid. That kawi is a faster bike.

But you should know that you can't compare those two settings
He got:
Full stock 636
You got:
-Quickshifter (eliminates time speed)
- Probably full race exhaust (must be race airfilter and maybe powercommander)
So yeah its not about the 36cc, but I guess you know that :)
Also acc speed depends on
Tires (soft/medium/hard)
Tire pressure
You should do stock race with him again 😁
So r6 and 636 are close in a race or is one actually faster than the other
tbh the only diff between the old r6 and new is the body work... the old one was better looking but either way on the st the kawasaki is the better bike because they gave it more torque for the road which helps it in a drag race. on a track the yamaha takes it because of its light weight, ease of handling, and top end pull.
If we evaluate riders, you won, if we evaluate bikes, Kawasaki won, most of the races he lost was because he quit or because bad starts.
Any tips on which years are better for this kawa?
