I would argue that the 38mm Certina DS Action black dial diver makes for the ultimate all around, “one watch collection” as it can technically go from actual scuba diving duties all the way to black tie events effortlessly, even better than a Subbie thanks to its super modest proportions 💯%!
You forgot the Seiko Alpinist line that make for excellent everyday watches with sporty specs and dressy upside. Especially the 1959 Laurel recreations like the SPB249
Yeh, I own the Gentleman blue sectored dial- I LOVE IT! It’s an amazing and practical piece. I fall in love with watches every time I check the time and see that dial and beautiful finishing!! And- I don’t think there is a “one watch collection”. You can be knee deep into watches and horology, yet if you own one- you’re not ‘collecting’ anything…
A good choice Harrison (as always), it's great to hear some love for Certina and MIdo. Great brands with some very solid collections. Of this bunch I would find it hard to pick an outright winner as they are all good but if I really had to choose one with my own money it would be the the PRX as I have a three hander PM80 blue dial that was purchased a few years ago and it's perfectly fine. On my wrist today is my Omega Constellation Golbemaster pie pan blue dial on leather, a watch that I never want to sell. Thanks for sharing.
Good list. Would have put the Sealander instead of Trident from CW. Glad to to see Certina represent, but am surprised you left all of the Seiko Alpinist models, Alpinist, Baby Alpinist, or 1959 Laurel reinterpretation
I own a green dial Gentleman and it is stunning. It is a compliment magnet and a great conversation starter. The value for money surpasses is unbeatable.
Well, a wee bit of sun here in Ayrshire today, so I’m wearing my TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT (Navy/White bezel). That Citizen is tempting!
Rocking a black Omega Railmaster on the bracelet today. Always great to see videos about more affordable watches that I can use to try to sway some more friends into watch collecting =)
Love the VDO Just want to help you out with the pronunciation for citizen tsuyosa... you can literally read it as "(t)su-yo-sa" the (t) is almost silence 😊
Certina are phenomenal timepieces for the price point. On wrist today is my OMEGA SEAMASTER 300 diver Summer blue. Keep the videos coming Harrison. 👏🏼👍🏼👏🏼
The Tissot Gentleman has a higher grade of the Powermatic movement (there are at least 3 grades), which does not, in fact, have any plastic parts in the movement, like the PRX does.
I have the black certina ds plus, good, if you fancy a change once in a while 👍 Currently wearing my black longines avigation big eye, on my my Vertex M100A bracelet which I have just found out fits, for a different look 😊👍 Keep up the great content 👍
Certina , I will go for 2024 DS GMT. Great watch. Tissot, I brought Seastar 1000 40 mm Powermatic 80. I wearing it everyday. Citizen, I will go for ECO drive Nighthawk. A very good price quartz GMT. Hamilton, pass, their watches has no change for decades. Mido, new Ocean Star are great. Agree with you. Christopher Ward. I will go to their GMT. Forgot which series.
You got the “Ts” part of Tsuyosa down pat. It’s the “u” that’s tripping you up. It needs to sound like u in cube, not the u in cub. It’s should be an “oooh” sound. Anyway, great selection here. I’m seriously considering that Certina DS+ now.
Today's watch is the sbga415 gs. I've been tempted with the murph and I think the only reason I haven't got one yet is that I have a sarb 033 which fills a similar role.
Sometimes I wish I never got into watches. Too much choice on what to wear every day, too many new watches that pique my interest, too much money spent on watches. A one watch collection sounds nice, but I know it would never work for me. Collection of 5, with the exception of G-Shocks, which do not count, maybe...
I have a Casio Mudmaster gshock on. Not the stupid blueetooth one. Im doing a lot of rough work today so will be banging into lots of things. Out of all of these the MIDO is the best.
I prefer a closed caseback. I’d rather have a well executed & interesting caseback making the watch a little bit slimmer than a visible, unadorned ETA or Sellita movement.
I feel like a lot of one and done watch vids focus on the same watches and miss out on two things. One, if “you” wear it every day, then by definition it’s an every day watch regardless of whether it is something that watch enthusiasts would dress up or down. But often it seems like the starting point is “would it fit under a sleeve and therefore to a nice event”. And then round whole / square peg an argument can be made to wear it in other situations (see the Certina, Citizen and Tissot). Granted it’s A question of personal aesthetics. But I feel the Murph of all of them has a more universal appeal for being able to dress up or wear casually. And changing out the strap changes its character for the occasion. Aesthetics are subjective, but in terms of all around, I think the new Yema Navygraf, Zodiac Sea Wolf ceramic or Seiko SBP337 are more interesting, one and done watches.
Love that you brought new watches like certina, but i feel like having dejavu everytime i watch your video, same watches all time, please include something new and forget the prx
Love your vids but calling Mido a microbrand when it's part of the swatch group like most of the brands in this video makes it seem like it was an afterthought and something you just threw in there :/ hope you learn more about smaller independent and microbrands in the future Harrison. Cheers.
There was a footballer called Mido who played for Tottenham years ago. I literally can't buy a mido watch because of this. It would be like buying a Gazza watch.
Feel like you didn’t do your research on the Mido Oceanstar 39. The movement is the 2892 based movement that Longines uses. That’s why the watch is so much thinner.

Traska Commuter is incredible for the money and the hardened SS makes it more durable than most
I have the green gentleman. Its amazing.
Tissot seastar gmt quartz?
I have the omega aqua terra shades sandstone on my wrist today
You know how GOOD the Tissot Gentleman is? I sold a Datejust 41 in favor of it.
On my wrist today - Hamilton Below Zero titanium yellow hands and yellow strap. Had it for two months and it is fantastic in summer!

On Wrist today, Late 60's early 70' Selhor 07 Skindiver with seconds at the 6 on Nato strap. Love the Hamilton Murph as a 1 watch collection option
Well, a wee bit of sun here in Ayrshire today, so I’m wearing my TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT (Navy/White bezel).
That Citizen is tempting!
There is no "i" in tsuyosa. "Su-yosa" thank you for trying to get it right though. I appreciate the effort.
I'll get it right one day!
Rocking a black Omega Railmaster on the bracelet today.
Always great to see videos about more affordable watches that I can use to try to sway some more friends into watch collecting =)
Hamilton Kahki FTW or a Mido Ocean Star🙌
Love the VDO
Just want to help you out with the pronunciation for citizen tsuyosa... you can literally read it as "(t)su-yo-sa" the (t) is almost silence 😊
Wearing my SEIKO King Samurai with the white waffle dial - a versatile and robust strap-monster.
I enjoyed seeing the Mido included in your list!
Certina are phenomenal timepieces for the price point.
On wrist today is my OMEGA SEAMASTER 300 diver Summer blue. Keep the videos coming Harrison. 👏🏼👍🏼👏🏼
How does the gentleman compare to the Longines conquest?
As of now I have is Timex expedition indiglo
Great video as always
I have a 1969 Omega Seamaster 300 Ref 166024 on my wrist today
I have on the wrist precisely the green tsuyosa! 😁
I love the tissot gentlemen but the plastic parts in the powermatic 80 sucks.
The Tissot Gentleman has a higher grade of the Powermatic movement (there are at least 3 grades), which does not, in fact, have any plastic parts in the movement, like the PRX does.
@@nedflanders3769 😮
The Invicta Pro Diver is on my wrist today.
Wearing the Sinn 857 UTC today, my favorite Pilots watch

I own the CW ...its a stunning watch to wear and look at ...
I have the Tsuyosa in yellow. I love the look and comfort. I don't like that it's hard to wind and set the time because the crown.
The SMP300 looks great on you, what is the size of your wrist please?
I've got 6.5 inch wrists
Undone Terra II “Lagoon” on my wrist. Great video as always!
Today's watch is the sbga415 gs. I've been tempted with the murph and I think the only reason I haven't got one yet is that I have a sarb 033 which fills a similar role.
I have the Christopher Ward C60 Atoll 300 in white. The perfect 1 watch collection imo

The Hamilton Murph needs a canvas Archer strap!
Theres just something about that christopher ward, Im considering getting one. Any suggestions?
I have a Casio Mudmaster gshock on. Not the stupid blueetooth one. Im doing a lot of rough work today so will be banging into lots of things. Out of all of these the MIDO is the best.
What about the Citizen forza?
I would pick any Diver under 1000 so I can wear it anywhere
and as always Harrison should not be without his Seamaster on nylon
I'd say that first Certina in the list is more comparable to Twelve by CW, even by design language.
Wrist Check: White-Gold Quartz PRX ftw
I prefer a closed caseback. I’d rather have a well executed & interesting caseback making the watch a little bit slimmer than a visible, unadorned ETA or Sellita movement.
Most i agree with but the prx im so tired of and no, not everyone has it.
Right now just an Amazfit smart watch on my wrist.
soo-YOH-sah 😊😊

Squale 1521 today ❤
There was a footballer called Mido who played for Tottenham years ago. I literally can't buy a mido watch because of this. It would be like buying a Gazza watch.
Have to say the Christopher ward is undoubtedly the best out of the bunch
Lets be honest. I don‘t own a PRX but I do own 3 Hamiltons.

Longines spirit zulu time 42
1 watch is not a collection. It's just.. 1 watch.
I can buy a £50 watch with a colour matched date complication. I am not spending 20 times that on one that doesn't.
On my wrist today?...........a Fitbit versa........yeah, sorry about that .....
Starbucks today
IF YOU STOP DOING WATCH VIDEOS, MAYBE I OWN 1 WATCH BY NOW 😂
