Godly bass skills with some Godly dreads and beard. Hell yeah. For real though. I just discovered you all an hour ago. You worked your way up as one of my personal favorites immediately. The amount of technique and skill that you all have is out of this world. Amazing bass work. ACTUAL drum solos. Bad ass guitar solos. You have it all. I love how you all arent afraid of rests too. Some parts, youll have nothing but synth and bass. Other parts, youll have drums, followed by the guitar coming in full force. Etc. A lot of bands make it to where all instruments are playing all the way through, no matter what. Which, i feel reduces the value of said instrument. You all definitely understand theroy down to the bitter core and i respect that a lot. I see in the comments youre working on another album. Im super bricked up for it. Thanks for this, seriously!
Thank you for your unbelievably kind words! I am so happy that you enjoy my playing, and Lunar Chamber's music. We are indeed getting close to completing our first full length! No promises for when it will be released, but we are trucking along!
Thank you very much! I'm glad that you enjoyed it :) I will be releasing another playthrough for our EP soon after the full release, and there is a short bass solo in that song too! Thanks for the support!
Absolutely tectonic playing, mate! Great playthrough. I love when the bass has pronounced mids, which in most metal mixes get scooped and the bass feels present but musically inaudible. This OTOH is brilliant.
Amazing! Just discovered the band today and I'm honestly dumbstruck. Love the lyrical themes too, myself coming from a Hindu background. Hope to hear more soon. Much love from Mauritius brother 🇲🇺🦤
Thank you so much, I'm glad that you enjoy the music and the themes! We are going in the same lyrical direction on our first full length that we are working on :)
Awesome playing man, love to see a really awesome bass player in this genre. Seems like (im even guilty of it myself with the black metal band im in) a lot of the non-tech specific flavors of extreme music really forget how fucking cool bass guitar is and just use it for the bare minimum. Love the EP, can’t wait to see what you guys do next!
Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it! I agree that the bass tends to get forgotten about in metal. I've been playing bass for 16 years and I actually got so frustrated with having so few inspirations for bass that I tried switching over to drums around 10 years ago. It didn't last though, and now I'm here :) I just uploaded another bass playthrough for Lunar Chamber by the way!
Thank you! :) I am not, what you are hearing is my studio bass track underneath my playthrough audio as I do not have a version of the EP with my studio bass track muted.
This is absolutely incredible. The best I can describe it is…..breathtakingly brutal 🤘🔥🤘can’t wait for the full ep, I know it’s going to be great! The bass playing is phenomenal, very well done sir! 👏
I really appreciate the kind words! I hope that you enjoy the full EP, and the second playthrough video that I will be releasing around a month from now!

I'm honored to have been able to help you through that journey and that you enjoy our music that much! Cheers :)
criminally good
Talking about yourself on my video??? ;)

Another day another wanting to get a new bass guitar. I'm very much a 4 string purist, but OH LORD you make a really strong case for getting a 6
Wow lunar chamber is sick lol
Awesome technique and Warwick bass
I keep coming back to this video every day, its so addictive
Thank you for such a huge compliment! I appreciate it so much :)
Same! This tone is unbelievable! And Thomas playing its like he’s conducting a ritual! So so flawless so so clear!
@@marcocastro9465 You're too kind Marco :)
Every day. I play this song for my 8 month old daughter and I love it when she bobs her head to the music. My wife wants to kill me haha
@@folivera87 That's so cool dude, thank you so much for your enthusiasm and support!! :D
”I will not shave or cut my hair untill I have mastered this bass track!”
You are now free to sport a bassplayer’s standard crew cut🤟
That's exactly why I cut my hair and beard, you figured it out! ;)
Amazing
Phenomenal! My right hand started cramping halfway through just watching lol
Thank you so much! It's definitely a tiring song haha!
Fretless bass makes everything better. Great playing!
Love this tone and performance! Great album all the way. ❤
Thank you so much!
Love at first listen! Time for some interstellar travel...
💀🐊
Awesome playthrough and great technical skills!
P.S. I like when band give to bassist the opportunity to play solo (5:32)

Sick!!!
Thank you so much!!
Superb technic, top composing, excellent sound... I'm playing 5 String but i also need a fretless 6 String 😅
Thank you so much for the kind words! Best of luck to you with your personal music journey!
hard
🤘🤘🤘🤘
This just goes to show that fretless bass in metal makes it sound cooler.
Thank you Timothy :)
Could you tell me the gear you used for this? I love the Warwick growl...
Thank you! I just plugged direct into my audio interface, added a compressor, an 800hz boost, and a limiter with high gain.
What tuning is this in? So good!!!
Thank you! :) It's in B standard tuning!
Are there going to be guitar playthroughs?
Can't confirm yet, but we're working on it :)
Are you using delay? Sounds great!
Thank you! :) I am not, what you are hearing is my studio bass track underneath my playthrough audio as I do not have a version of the EP with my studio bass track muted.
@@thomascampbellmusic oh that makes sense. What a sound though! It creates a nice chorus effect too :)
Awesome playing 🤘 are those roundwound or flats? Love the tone
Thank you! They are Roundwounds, I use Kalium strings!
