Learned entirely by ear, so it is likely that these are not the exact parts that Jeroen Paul Thesseling played on the recording. This is a tough one at 260bpm, but it was really fun to learn! Would be great if next time you removed the bass stem in the original track and just put your live playing on. Slight chorusing issues. Not saying it's badly plasyed by any means! It's just slightly conflicting notes.
I hear you, but I do not have access to the mix without the bass track, and I do not know how to remove the bass track from a fully mixed song (if that is even possible).

Huge fan of your work in lunar chamber and void ceremony! What tuning is this bass in? Do you use custom strings/rounds? I've always wanted to make the switch to fretless and you are a huge inspiration!

I appreciate your kind words 😁 Just to clarify though, I did not play on any VoidCeremony record, I'm just filling in for their future live shows 🙂 The tuning is F#BEADGC, so a 6 string bass with an additional low string. I use round wounds from Kalium Strings, I switch back and forth between Stainless steel and their hybrid nickel strings depending on which band I'm recording for. I ended up getting one of the ibanez fretless headless bass's and i'm absolutely in love. after nearly 10 years of playing bass I feel completely reinvigorated in my musical journey once again thanks for your reply and you will continue to be an inspiration for me and tech death fretless nerds everywhere

Godly bass skills with some Godly dreads and beard. Hell yeah. For real though. I just discovered you all an hour ago. You worked your way up as one of my personal favorites immediately. The amount of technique and skill that you all have is out of this world. Amazing bass work. ACTUAL drum solos. Bad ass guitar solos. You have it all. I love how you all arent afraid of rests too. Some parts, youll have nothing but synth and bass. Other parts, youll have drums, followed by the guitar coming in full force. Etc. A lot of bands make it to where all instruments are playing all the way through, no matter what. Which, i feel reduces the value of said instrument. You all definitely understand theroy down to the bitter core and i respect that a lot. I see in the comments youre working on another album. Im super bricked up for it. Thanks for this, seriously!
