I think some of theses pastel pop swatches would actually pair really well with your cc pack! Specifically referencing that dark turquoise/teal swatches for a couple of the items! Could be nice for you to mix and match a bit :)

my college here in Canada, Ontario all had double beds and our own rooms. we just had a shared kitchenette. super normal for some. aswell this is also giving me pollypocket in the most beautiful way💗🎀 aswell Canada is 19+😜 drink glasses work haha.
18 in Alberta :) double beds & having your own room is pretty common! same with having 1 or 2 bathrooms within the little apartment unit that you only had to share with one other person

Renovating the dorm rooms was literally the first thing I did the packs too! Lol
If you want to have the kits sorted I will suggest to use TwistedMexi's BetterBuildBuy mod. These 2 new kits are not sorted yet but I am sure they will get to it soon, they are usually quick at updating and fixing their mods. You will also get the debug and live edit sorted into categories too :) Your builds will not be marked as using CC when using this mod (as long as you're not using any other CC in the build of course).
Just remember to take the mod out when there's new Sims updates because it usually breaks the mod. But like I said they're usually quick at updating the mod so just keep checking their Patreon page for updates.

I studied in the UK and the standard dorm rooms had double beds! + the alcohol thing is very true as well

I live in a dorm atm and yes we do have double beds here lol. The only downside is that our room is VERY much cramped. Like one of those New York apartments. Oh well at least we sleep comfortably 😅

I literally used my tablet as a computer for a whole year because my computer strait up died on me and I couldn't afford to replace it. I even used my old mini easel as a stand! I would get this kit just for that item. It was a difficult year and my life is still off centre but I'm getting to a point where things are stable. Sims is my escape but I still like to add realism to it, Thank you so much for making your videos, I love to watch them during my breaks and during down time.

I was quite skeptical about this kit. It just seemed a little too much, especially right after all of the goodies from high school years, but you made it work and made a believer out of me. Good job.
I love all the pastel variants. The only thing I'm not a fan of is how some mugs look octagonal instead of round. I feel like high school pack would go perfect with this. Particularly the wardrobes.💜

Literally I got the Pastel Kit just for the carpet and salt lamp. We never get carpet, let alone a shag!!!
the darker colour of squiggle carpet reminds me of movie theatres in the 90s-2000s. Greater Union in particular 😄

It's always wild to me to hear what dorm rooms are like in other countries. In my German uni the dorm rooms were all the same cost, and sharing a room with another student wasn't even an option.
I'm in Australia, and ours were like that too. There were 3 larger rooms in our housing college but they were for the elected student committee executive and didn't cost them more.
It is interesting. I remember I had the cheapest, smallest shared dorm. Then we would go to the other girls luxury suite with an en-suite, big bed and balcony! Wild

I'm in Finland, and we don't have any dorms at all. Instead there are cheaper apartments that are meant for students only, and those can be shared with previously unknown roommates, friends or a partner. Some of them are studios. I don't understand why dorms even exist anymore, not having an actual apartment but only a small room in a dorm sounds absolutely terrible to me 😂

The dorms at my old university only had private bathrooms and when they eventually moved to having more single downs, the twin sized beds were swiped out for full size.
I can't wait to get home to purchase these!!! I'm loving all the colors. Also the way you mixed the wall color & then added a pattern on another, super sleek to me. Too funny how they cleaned up the wine. Hahaaa

Deli! I love the carebears. My whole childhood 🥺🥺🥺🥺 i would love to see Carebears inspired build and sims. Like grumpy bear, secret bear, sunshine bear, maybe some of the carecousins, and rooms inspired by their aesthetics 😂 maybe only you and I would enjoy it but still!

Hey Deli, the tablet actually works the same as the laptops, meaning you can put them in your sims inventory!
US dorm room beds are often “twin extra long” so you have to buy the sheets and comforter/quilt that you’ll never use again once you move out of the dorm. Donate to goodwill. I think the single beds are to discourage… hooking up. Have you watched the show *ex lives of college girls? On HBO in the US, maybe not out yet in AUS. But it’s great, second season starts soon. Ok, now to watch your video 😂

Drinking wine in a dorm room is also a thing in the US, but when you're under 21 (or have a roommate who is) you have to hide your wine. And most people drink wine from a coffee mug 😂

One of the dorms my brother lived in in university had a double bed, only you could barely move around it because it was basically the entire room. He only had that and a wardrobe cause it was like one of the basic cheapo dorms.
As someone who's gone to conventions in universities - yes, it exists in the world. Although the beds were king size.
Next time you can place all the objects from the packs in a separate area in the lot. That way you can create an “object pallet” from which you can just grab from.
My university has a dorm set up with two double beds, but the more common one is 4 twin beds but I live alone in a dorm with 4 twin beds (cuz I’m an RA) and so I have a king sized bed because I pushed two together
In the US, even if you're old enough to drink you can't legally have the alcohol in your dorm. Or at least in the state I live in you can't. And the RAs do room checks.

These are cute. Something I don't get is why all the new beds aren't comfortable. The ones from High School and this. Like cute beds can be comfy. I want an aesthetic room with a well rested sim.
Literally only getting the pastel pop kit for the salt lamp and the tablet/laptop 😭🤣 everything else is a bonus

if you lick your finger and do the popping motion on the outside of your cheek, it makes a louder more consistent pop sound 😅
And now to induce rampant speculation on the next expansion being a Generations analog: Where is the cup with the dentures? It's not in these kits, that's for sure!
