My thoughts on that ringing is there a flaw in the steel . When purchasing a hammer I always checked and took the one without that ringing sound . I could be wrong , just my opinion lol
@@OutdoorswThatGuy No flaw here. It is all about the heat treatment and hardness of the steel. The blades of his axes are also very slender / thin, which allows them vibrating (singing) very easily.
Hello Bertram, i bet you dont have an idea of which joy you bring us while watching you being outside in this beautiful nature. Mindfulness, awareness and inner peace is touching me then. You are a rock of sane in the surges of absurdity in this times. THANK YOU!🙏 Lovely greetings from the platinate forest, germany.👋🍀🌲🌳🍁 Manuel
“Oh wow, it’s such a relief and joy to finally see a video after 5 years! I hope you’re doing well. I spent a lot of time here in the past, especially when peace was hard to find before COVID.”
Good to see you back. I'm just now eating my supper, got my flock bedded down, its been a long week. I haven't seen anyone for 3 or 4 weeks, but that's how I like it. The stew is good and my bread is just right. Im glad to see your putting out videos again, its great company on a quiet night. Folks need you to show them what a real life is all about. Look forward to seeing more from you soon, thanks for the company from an old shepherd, his dogs and his sheep, I sure appreciate it.
I come home from a long work week, (I work midnights), get a few things done before heading to bed. Wake up around 5:00 pm or so and get my weekend tasks out of the way. My wife is usually heading to bed by the time I’m done of an evening. I fill a pipe with a favorite tobacco blend, pour myself a double-shot of some good ol’ Kentucky bourbon whiskey and kick back to some relaxing Bertram bush craft videos. Many thanks from Springport, Indiana. USA.
Hi Bertham love your videos, im 21 now but i think because of you i got into all sorts of camping videos, thank you and god bless you and your hard work!👍❤
Refreshing to watch true woodscraft/ bushcraft where tools are made and more than a simple overnight or gear review. You inspired me to get back to blacksmithing! Great videos! Cheers from canada
Thank you for putting out some more wilderness videos again. I've enjoyed your blacksmithing too but this is what I enjoy most about your channel. Cheers
I have seen many many videos of camping (good btw) but you, my dude, make the best of all of them. Really really good stuff here. Thanks for that and keep bringing us this audiovisual masterpieces
Always have and always will enjoy your content. Thank you for coming back and releasing new content. Keeps me enthralled and happy. The new microphone is a good addition. I struggle with food noises, but the rest is great 👍
Entspannend und Spannend zugleich! Ich frage mich wie scharf Werkzeuge sein müssen um zu Singen 😍. Eine Freude zu sehen das Bertram weiter Videos macht
You and Mr. Rogers were some of the first screen time my kids ever experienced back in 2020. It brought a good feeling today watching a new Bertram video together. We're grateful for your productions.
COMPLAINT: Why has YT never put this mans videos on my feed until tonight? Not happy!... until I saw this man continually smiling throughout his video. He is living his best life and sharing it with us outdoorsy people. A brilliant video Mr. N. I shall be watching your other 95 videos now and thank you in advance for making them. That pork joint was mind blowing. The crackling looked amazing! If you didn't enjoy bushcraft etc, you could take up boxing. You have hands like shovels.
Excellent Bertram👍👍 Living life as intended, free and wild. Your camps are always just right, tarp or tent, hand made everything and void of the gimmicks normally seen. A breath of fresh air every time I see your videos. The fires, the food, the crafting and solitude spread the splendor of nature and peace. I wish you much health on your continuing journeys. Thanks for the trip, see you next time.
So nice to have you back posting Bertram...forge on ! p.s was cool to hear you speaking on Mortens channel, even cooler was the rescue of Bertram the Crow !
This distinct ringing of russian axe blade... Oh man, brings back all the old memories. Grandparent's house in countryside, household chores, working on the backyard and whatnot. An old axe and inept handling by a city boy visiting countryside only once or twice a year.
Well Sir , its good to have ya on board in our bushcraft world and its good to see ya as well , i must say you are very crafted with yr own authenticity . Thank you ✌️
I see you still have your hides to sleep on. Really appreciate your videos and hope you continue to pursue your experiences in the outdoors and share them with all of us.
Your videos are as far as I'll ever get to sharp knives and axes such as yours (I'd have lost a few fingers by now), but I love them. I always have a lovely trip travelling with you.Thank you 🙌🙌
Thank you for watching.
The video description include gear list and answers to the most asked questions etc.
А куда вы пропадали ? Очень рад снова наблюдать ваше творчество
Another great and relaxing video Rune
Thankyou for posting
The smiling man with the singing axe 🙌. Fabulous!
I am glad that someone else also notice that he always smile. What a guy!
I also love the singing axe!

@WagnerM. Ahh OK , thank you for bit of info , like I said , I could be wrong but in this case close lol ✌️
Who else is thinking Bertram was born thousands of years ago in the deep forests of Europe, and he's teaching us the basics.
I am...hehe
He liked your message... but I think he is just a good soul, trying to share his knowledge -and for me this already means a lot !
Lebaaaaay kamu❗🙃
I've felt that vibe for years. It's like he's teaching us his skills from a past life.

When you cooked that salmon over those coals, it looked so good. I kept imagining you covering that salmon in 🫒 oil and salt. That would’ve been 😋😋😋.
