    Those who watch should be aware these are not tourism-oriented, they're used by regular commuters. This route in particular was easily re-opened because the tracks were never removed, and with a growing focus from the part of City Hall to get as few cars into the city as possible, they've invested in increasing the frequency and span of public transportation. As someone who was born and raised in Lisbon and knows how bad parking, noise and pollution can become, I greatly approve of decisions like this one of bringing back the old routes.

    Good video, thank you for sharing it. It's pity thah you did not include the manual switch of the track at the end of the ride, to turn left around the place

    Elétrico doesn't mean electric, it means tram... Great video :) it's good to see Lisbon considers trams just like buses

      The description is correct. The E in 24E stands for "electrico" . And electrico is literally the word which describes the property of running on electric power in Portuguese (if it's a male gendered object, if it was female it would be electrica). These trams are known here as "carros electricos" (electric cars) exactly because they're electrial, i.e., they run on electricity.
