I,ve had a few parcels delivered from this firm and most of the drivers were on time and pleasant. My son is a self employed parcel deliverer and says it's hard work getting to the depot to load up the van, and going to different locations. And some motorists on the road treat them with contempt as though they shouldn't be on the road. Take care out there.

The first and last guy were massively decent and made the company look an amazing place to work at. Very friendly. But the second fella made the company look authoritarian. Telling a member of the public what he can and cannot do. Damn, he should be reprimanded but not fired or demoted. Just 'been friendly' training is what he needs. I definitely would not like to see him fired.
Keep your camera on them at all times during interactions,to make sure you have evidence if needed of assaults etc,or get a wide angle bodycam or a shoulder mounted 360. Your safety comes before their feelings mate.
7 deliveries of dpd in 3 weeks. Every driver was called Gary yet all was different drivers when they came. This was the oldbury depot in the West Midlands

Just to play devils advocate, Where entrances are recessed like this one ,it does not mean the fence there denotes the property line. Its a requirement so trucks are off of the road while entering.
its called a 'visibility splay'. Most entrances allow a degree of vision in both directions before you actually move onto the highway. theres loads of them...
Our local depot got rid of their drivers and made them re-apply for their old jobs but as self-employed, the number of drops went up, for a while they had a lot of east european drivers, but even they found it hard to keep up, some delivering could not even read the labels, and dropped parcels in the wrong place, goods in couldn't find it because the dumped it by reception.
The lower down the management chain the less intelligence and more abusive people seem to be... Those with no authority at all are the most aggressive...
I took my CPC in my own time and at my own expense when I was a plod, it didn't get me anywhere until I left and worked briefly for an oil company. Then after taking redundancy I ended up as a prison officer, you don't need a CPC to shout " bang up, behind your doors lads ". LOL
The blue one are thieving bastards. I sold my phone on eBay, sent it through them. They used a knife to cut it out the box, take the phone then tape it back up then delivering the empty box to my buyer. Then they closed a claim and didn't care at all. Will never use again.

If you get a franchise. You can get in 5 drivers to deliver and just live off what they do. 160£ a round pay driver 100 and keep the 60. That's per day btw

The drivers don’t like being filmed as a lot of them are illegal immigrants. If you have any aggro, take a picture of them and tell them you are uploading it border control. They run a mile.
They are dynamic at parcel deliveries... Makes me laugh when they turn up at 8am when I'm about to go out the door and my delivery drop isn't due till late afternoon...
