    Jesse, got mine end of 2021 and they are still the same. I had to do full leveling and sharp ends. I used parts from original tuners and another set I bought to make them solid and remain the same style. All videos on my channel

      Decent guitar, my playing here though is shit! Lol, I appreciate u having a heart though! U usually don't come across that on the internet! Took alot of work to make this guitar playable. Out of the box it was horrible! After some polishing of the frets and frets ends and rolling the finger board edges, it's a decent player now. Def worth the $150 !

    I'm sorry you got such a POS but the one I received is amazing for the price! The intonation and frets were dead on. I am going to replace the machine heads but that's it, the pick ups are fine. The paint is killer and the powder blue pick guard is sweet.

    • @demuthjesse
      @demuthjesse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't say it's a piece oh shit. If u watched my review I had pretty much positive things to say about the guitar. The only thing on mine that was a real problem was the fret sprout. The tuners work but if u are anything more then a bedroom musician they are very unreliable. I was looking at it from a a new players perspective because for the price, let's be real, its going to be a first guitar for alot of people and when u r new at guitar u barely know how to tune it. Let alone even beginning to think about fret filing and setting up a trem.

    • @demuthjesse
      @demuthjesse  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes my friend. To be honest, the fret work by far was the worst offender. As far as Intonation and action, yes it needs to be worked on a little. But most of that depends on your string gauge. It comes set up with .9's and the bridge not floating. So if u want to use your whammy bar and dont play .9's the set up work will be more intense. If u play .9's and dont care about the bridge floating you could probably get away with things the way they come out of the box. Besides the frets and fret sprout of course! If u r willing to do a little work the guitar is def worth the purchase! Now that mine is dialed in, I'm absolutely in love with it! I haven't changed anything on it yet either. It's still stock!

      I dont known the size to be honest with u, sorry about that. But u can easily reem the holes out to be a little wider. (Google what a reemer is if u are not familiar). Its super simple to do! The only problem is if u ever want to put the guitar back to stock the old tuners will not fit anymore. Then, when I change pickups to the humbucker, I turn my volume on my guitar all the way up to get my "gain sound" or "distortion". Should i buy a bullet strat. or this one or affinity.

    • @demuthjesse
      @demuthjesse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It all depends on what kind of instrument u like the feel of my friend. My first electric guitar was a hardtail bullet strat. I also owned a affinity and now have this kramer. To be honest, to me the best feeling and playing is the bullet strat. I absolutely love that guitar to this day and still own it. The affinity was horrible and the only one I dont own anymore ( I gave it to an ex girlfriend who wanted to learn guitar, that is how much it meant to me, lol) and this kramer is somewhere in the middle of both squier's. It took work on my part like setting up the trem and doing some fret work on the kramer to get it playing "good" though. Which was not required on my particular squier bullet.So, in conclusion, if u care about having a name brand on your guitar and need a humbucker, get the Kramer. If u dont care if your guitar says "squier" on it, u dont mind single coils and prefer a guitar with a thicker neck, buy the bullet! I hope that helps and sorry for making it so long....

      @@bassa69 I bought mine from sam ash In the states. First guitar? Hmmm, unless u are willing to learn how to work on guitars (fretwork and set up work, etc...) I dont think this is the best choice. Your money is well spent on a squier instead. I recommend a classic vibe or even an affinity. The kramer is my 7th guitar. Anything above a bullet when it comes to squire. Or a used made in Mexico fender is the best call. On reverb u can pick one up for about $300. The made in Mexico is about $500-$800 new. Out of the box a squier is a much better starter guitar, In my humble opinion. After working on it for a good while, the Kramer is great though. It took alot of work though. Filing the frets, rolling the finger board edges and setting up the horrid tremolo. Straight out of the box it was what I would call unplayable. Espically for a new player. Andertons may do that set up work for you, I personally have never bought anything from them so I cannot speak on that. Your guess is as good as mine.
