i feel like he actually played much better with the vcore 95. although slightly more demanding, i think he lost control of the ball way less with the 95 than this percept frame. looks like he has to work really hard at not overhitting with this one. and on tight points in bigger matches that could cause problems. the slight bit of ‘forgiveness’ and extra power seems like it is not benefiting him much. but idk, just what i’m noticing

@@crosscourtwinner I may be wrong, but I really feel it suits him. his forehand reminds me of mannarino, they have a very similar stroke and flight, they also both are going for accuracy and consistency and to dictate the point that way. seems like you’re swinging smooth and effortlessly, whereas your opponent appears to really trying to swing out (and often missing)
relatively speaking, is your opponent hitting more pace than you… and you’re just absorbing and redirecting it with more precision?

If I recall correctly one of your earlier posts addressed tweaking your FH, possibly to gain better overall shot control/minimize overhitting? Perhaps this is the result.

Seemed like you were getting more pop on the serve & on groundies too maybe at the expense of some loss of control off the ground which I presume is not all that surprising moving to a 100 from a 95 si head size but idk may be hard to tell in windy conditions.

wowm, u beat 400 atp rank fair and square and it's a hell of achievement ! playing steady, keep the ball in, great serve, amazing match. am not sure if wind has afftected that much but as far as i can notice he has a problem with early preparation. so many balls , mostly on forehand, he just blasted into net or out because he was late into the shot. congratulations!

Excellent content from two elite players. I can’t understand why anyone would talk down on players who clearly compete at a professional level. Most of us can’t say we’ve walked in their shoes.

"That's a STRONG name." Hehe, but seriously your serve, placement, and point construction was absolutely on here. Nice matchplay! Wish we had some of that sun/warmth up here in the Midwest. Big jealous 🥶

Very impressive, man! That guy is no pushover, but not STRONG enough...
Question: you seem to have a game tailor made for hard courts - did you grow up on the surface? Isn't Brazil mostly clay?

How are you feeling about the 100D now that you've had opportunity to play some competitive matches with it? I'm apprehensive about switching away from 95/98 square inch head sizes...

Congrats! Was it the wind, or Strong hit some sick kick serves?
And one question on tactics: there were many long rallies, and in 6 matches in one week they add up. Expect ally at 30 (no offense). Have you considered being more aggresive at the net? I did notice he hot some nice passing shots though…

Well done. Tricky conditions. A bit like the Uk minus the rain 😅

Opponents strokes are so interesting. So close to the body I hit like this too. I'm intrigued.

compared to how you felt physically, would you go as far to say it was night and day compared to this tournament and where you are now?

Hey Karue, great win! When you go up with such a lead - how do you mentally keep your foot on the gas and not lose focus?

Hi Karue, wondering why you chose not to play the prequalifying events to earn a spot in the upcoming Indian Wells Challengers tournaments?

Because I'm not American and wouldn't get a wild card even if I won

@@KaruesellHQ I thought it was for US citizens, but when I saw Patrick Zahraj in the draw as the #2 seed, I assumed anyone could play. I guess that's why Patrick withdrew.
