Sadly, it’s a well-known fact that horses have even died during these matches, their bodies pushed to the limit for the sake of human entertainment. The demands of the game can be harsh and unforgiving, and it’s devastating to realize how much these animals suffer. Horses, with their gentle spirits and strength, deserve so much better than this cruel sport. We owe them more kindness, respect, and protection.

You know why people like Liz Jones were critical? Because it wasn't cynical and jaded. Some have a hard time seeing something unabashedly loving, promoting the importance of family and connecting with nature. They prefer the dark corners, seeing them as more real. Says who? Life is full of light and darkness. Both are real. Why would Princess Catherine want to promote darkness when she's just coming out of it? How would that help anyone? You could see real emotion in both William and Catherine's faces. You could see they've faced a lot of pain. But they're still there, looking forward. I think they're inspiring.

I have heard from a couple of my Nurse friends since the fabulous Catherine Video.------ BOTH have said "now the hard part starts" I was shocked, and they both explained. many things, --- getting her strength back, avoiding picking up infections, even the simplest cold will knock her out a couple of days. WOW I had no idea
It is a reality. I am 20 plus years in remission and therapy back then wasn't like it is today. Catherine still has a long road ahead and all we can do is support her with prayers and kind thoughts.
Chemo and radiation are poison for the body which compromise the immune system severely. She is stil going to battle for at least 5 years beforevshe can start to relax a bit. Cancer is no walk in the park.

No, Netflix had a release date for a trailer in October. They would not release anything without the producer's say so. Meghan and Archewell are the producers. That is why it was only photos that were released and not even the best at that.
Kev, the video was melancholy because the cancer journey really is. For those of us going through that journey, it hit home. They did this for the people living with cancer and we appreciate it. I'm not a crier but I cried at this. It's a grounding and very real message. I'm glad she has such an obviously loving family around her and they can support each other. Those criticising this can't have been through a scary cancer diagnosis.
I totally agree with you. The video contains so much symbolism in the cinematography which went over their heads. They look at everything at face value without paying attention to the deeper meanings contained within. Which is such a pity. Some people just are vacuous beings I suppose.

Catherine's film looked pretty normal to me. Everyone I know with young children has days out that look like this. I think Catherine wanted to a. give a progress report, b., highlight that William has been her rock (especially after the vile rubbish that swirled around on social media about them both), and c. wanted to show that the kids are ok. And the film certainly showed all that. Maybe it's the journalists/commentators who are completely out of touch?
I agree with you. They are vacuous and judge everything at face value, like most of their reporting these days. They lack the backbone for real investigative reporting. They did not pay any attention to all of the subtle symbolism and nuances within the video which makes it a work of art in my opinion. The reaction of people who are living with cancer's reaction are enough to tell you that Catherine did an excellent job together with their videographer.
I think the video was trying to convey that they are a family first. They are real people and they are going through real challenges because they’ve been vilified so horribly over the last 4 to 5 years that people forget that they’re actually people. They have children they have family. They have personal relationships. The two jokers in California have done nothing but attack them try to make William seem like a villain and try to make Catherine the princess of Wales look like she’s this awful person and a racist so I think they’re trying to combat that going forward, we are people we are a family. I thought it was really sweet.
Princess Cstherine is still scared. Take it from me a six-year cancer survivor. She lives every day with the fear that she may not see her kids grow up, graduate from college, get married, etc. That she should be expected to share more is cruel and ignorant.
William actually was an active duty search and rescue helicopter pilot for 3 years and then a full-time ambulance pilot for 2 years. Harry was in Afghanistan for a few months twice. He never seemed to be full time active service.

It’s not strange or off, princess Catherine is fighting for her life! She now has to go through screenings every 2 months, etc, etc, etc., not to mention that it all depends on how aggressive the type of cancer is. This video was absolutely stunning and humanizes them and gives us all a glimpse of what’s truly important in life and this is family! She also informed the world what to continue expecting so that no one speculates. I do think she’s fighting a particular tough cancer, hence these types of videos that they are putting out, but that’s just my opinion. Hoping the best for their beautiful family! 🙏🏻
My impression was Princess Catherine has reached a treatment milestone. Given the outpouring of love & concern from the world she wanted to share her good news, of which there can be little during cancer, with the world.

I am currently on my 9th round of chemotherapy. I have lost 50 pounds and now weigh what I did in 8th grade. I have 3 more rounds after this one. The recovery can take up to 2+ years. The chemotherapy treatments sap all your energy for days after treatment.
I think that after the overwhelming and emotional outpouring of sympathy, well wishes and sharing of intimate cancer struggles from the public following Catherine’s cancer diagnosis, the Wales’s probably felt that a similarly intimate sharing of their news and life as a family was well deserved. I applaud them for it.

You're missing one fact from that conclusion on Kate's health. I agree - it was a progress report. Remember though, she had a major tummy surgery. She's dealing with something very serious with cancer battle on top of that. I think that's the reason she needs to 'take one day as it comes' or something similar to what she said. She's deep in the woods (much like in the video), but she's there with her loving family. That's the message.
Who wants to watch a show about rich men abusing horses? Netflix continues to prove to me that I was right to drop my subscription. The two yokels from Monteshitshow showed their love over a 6 episode utterly boring series. What Catherine showed in this video, which by all standards, a very short video, was so much more impactful and moving. The cinematography used was madterfully done with so much symbolism and depth to it.

You know why people like Liz Jones were critical? Because it wasn't cynical and jaded. Some have a hard time seeing something unabashedly loving, promoting the importance of family and connecting with nature. They prefer the dark corners, seeing them as more real. Says who? Life is full of light and darkness. Both are real. Why would Princess Catherine want to promote darkness when she's just coming out of it? How would that help anyone? You could see real emotion in both William and Catherine's faces. You could see they've faced a lot of pain. But they're still there, looking forward. I think they're inspiring.

I have heard from a couple of my Nurse friends since the fabulous Catherine Video.------ BOTH have said "now the hard part starts" I was shocked, and they both explained. many things, --- getting her strength back, avoiding picking up infections, even the simplest cold will knock her out a couple of days. WOW I had no idea
It is a reality. I am 20 plus years in remission and therapy back then wasn't like it is today. Catherine still has a long road ahead and all we can do is support her with prayers and kind thoughts.
Chemo and radiation are poison for the body which compromise the immune system severely. She is stil going to battle for at least 5 years beforevshe can start to relax a bit. Cancer is no walk in the park.

Kev, the video was melancholy because the cancer journey really is. For those of us going through that journey, it hit home. They did this for the people living with cancer and we appreciate it. I'm not a crier but I cried at this. It's a grounding and very real message. I'm glad she has such an obviously loving family around her and they can support each other. Those criticising this can't have been through a scary cancer diagnosis.
I totally agree with you. The video contains so much symbolism in the cinematography which went over their heads. They look at everything at face value without paying attention to the deeper meanings contained within. Which is such a pity. Some people just are vacuous beings I suppose.

Catherine's film looked pretty normal to me. Everyone I know with young children has days out that look like this. I think Catherine wanted to a. give a progress report, b., highlight that William has been her rock (especially after the vile rubbish that swirled around on social media about them both), and c. wanted to show that the kids are ok. And the film certainly showed all that. Maybe it's the journalists/commentators who are completely out of touch?
I agree with you. They are vacuous and judge everything at face value, like most of their reporting these days. They lack the backbone for real investigative reporting. They did not pay any attention to all of the subtle symbolism and nuances within the video which makes it a work of art in my opinion. The reaction of people who are living with cancer's reaction are enough to tell you that Catherine did an excellent job together with their videographer.
I think the video was trying to convey that they are a family first. They are real people and they are going through real challenges because they’ve been vilified so horribly over the last 4 to 5 years that people forget that they’re actually people. They have children they have family. They have personal relationships. The two jokers in California have done nothing but attack them try to make William seem like a villain and try to make Catherine the princess of Wales look like she’s this awful person and a racist so I think they’re trying to combat that going forward, we are people we are a family. I thought it was really sweet.
Princess Cstherine is still scared. Take it from me a six-year cancer survivor. She lives every day with the fear that she may not see her kids grow up, graduate from college, get married, etc. That she should be expected to share more is cruel and ignorant.

William actually was an active duty search and rescue helicopter pilot for 3 years and then a full-time ambulance pilot for 2 years. Harry was in Afghanistan for a few months twice. He never seemed to be full time active service.
Also Prince William gave his wages when he was a pilot for air ambulance to their charity.

The additional diagnoses are considered secondary, which can affect the different body systems, along with chronic fatigue, especially if organs were removed such as the spleen, etc.
The immune system (which is developed through the thymus), is severely compromised as a direct result of chemotherapy, when exposed to viruses and bacteria can be quite dangerous for the recovering cancer patient. The threat of the cancer returning, especially more ferociously, is there every single day, which is a fear that needs to be battled, as well as the cancer itself. Princess Catherine needs our prayers now, more than ever.

No matter what, or who else may come along in the future; this beautiful snapshot of the fab-five will live on forever.

It’s not strange or off, princess Catherine is fighting for her life! She now has to go through screenings every 2 months, etc, etc, etc., not to mention that it all depends on how aggressive the type of cancer is. This video was absolutely stunning and humanizes them and gives us all a glimpse of what’s truly important in life and this is family! She also informed the world what to continue expecting so that no one speculates.
I do think she’s fighting a particular tough cancer, hence these types of videos that they are putting out, but that’s just my opinion.

I am currently on my 9th round of chemotherapy. I have lost 50 pounds and now weigh what I did in 8th grade. I have 3 more rounds after this one. The recovery can take up to 2+ years. The chemotherapy treatments sap all your energy for days after treatment.

I think that after the overwhelming and emotional outpouring of sympathy, well wishes and sharing of intimate cancer struggles from the public following Catherine’s cancer diagnosis, the Wales’s probably felt that a similarly intimate sharing of their news and life as a family was well deserved. Prince William was never lazy! When he became a father, our late Queen decided that he abs Harry (when he'd become a father) would spend less time on duty. HLMTQ reflected on her earlier years as a Monarch where she had to spend time away from her young family and she didn't want that for P William and Harry, this was why they did less. Prince William saved lives working as a Search and Rescue pilot in Anglesey before joining the Working Royals and before that served in the Armed Forces, hardly lazy. When not out on duty, much work is done behind the scenes. I think it's an unfair comment.

W&C absolutely DID NOT have to share that with us, but they did. IMO it endeared them to us more, it was beautifully done. The love they have for each other and their family is inspiring. The two yokels from Monteshitshow showed their love over a 6 episode utterly boring series. What Catherine showed in this video, which by all standards, a very short video, was so much more impactful and moving. The cinematography used was madterfully done with so much symbolism and depth to it.

Prayers for continued better health for Princess Catherine. Loved the video of Prince William and Princess Catherine and the children. So natural and just wonderful to see such a beautiful happy family all enjoying the day together.
I think the family were all involved they probably asked what they do when they go out for their country ramble and the things they do was put together it was a glimpse into part of their life it's well known that they are an outdoorsy type of family and like doing simple thing like old fashion kiddies card games like snap etc maybe will inspire families to go outdoors with their children more often The video showed how close Charlotte is to her mum and Louis reaching over to touch his mum's arm when sitting with dad all very touching they do seem to have a good time together and it was authentic you cannot make children act out being content and happy
