With this game I think Italy made it 40 years without losing to France. That all began to change from the 1980s, at which point it became France's turn to go on an unbeaten run against Italy.
This French team was just so elegant.
Os uniformes dos times eram bem mais bonitos e marcantes. Haviam características em cada time ou seleção quanto a cor e o padrão dos uniformes. Mudava uma ou outra coisa, mínima, detalhes, mas fazia certa diferença. Depois da "papagaiada uniformesca" dos anos 90(camisolas(nenhuma referência ao termo usado em Portugal), e calçolões, os uniformes voltaram a ficar mais enxutos. Nem todos!.Vendeu muita camisa e apresentou pouco futebol. No singular para não generalizar. Mas alguém aí o quiser fazer, por favor. Faça!. Pois merecem!. Mãe diz, o futebol empobreceu para os estádios mas enriqueceu com a mídia.😮😮

UEFA and CONMEBOL should break away and form their own tournament because this is a stain on the once proud tournament of the WC. The worst thing France could have done was score in the first minute as it meant Italy had to come out and play, which they wouldn't otherwise have done.

That Italian team had been built up incapable to do speculative football, Bearzot suited an all offensive way of playing and ,unlike all other teams, innovative too. That squad had incredible players who played the whole tournament constantly attack : the germany match is the best evidence of it since it should been ended 6/7-0 at least....
