- Merry Christmas Eve !!!!!❄️Come cook brunch and dinner with me ❤️This storm had us with -8 degree temperatures with windchills as low as -43 . All of our animals here on the farm did great ❤️Thank God for shelter , heat and good food during this freezing time 💕

Everyone wants a white Christmas I don't know why it's cold and gloomy. I guess if family is close it would be nice but it's not the same since our parent's are no longer with us. It's become a miss you holiday. ❤️ 💙 This is my 2nd year cancer free so far I'm grateful 🙏 ❤️ thank you Lord you are the reason of the season thank you for letting me be your child, and knowing my name. Please be careful using your electric stove top as a work surface. My girlfriend just went to set a bowl down on it & it completely shattered! Sometimes it's just the way something hits it. Maybe have Charles make a board to go across it so it rests on the counter on each side so the top doesn't get stressed & possibly break. Just want you to be safe.

It is difficult being without family on the holidays but you're right being safe is number one. My husband passed October 27th of this year at the age of 69 from brain cancer. I'm thankful I still have my two beautiful children and two beautiful Grandsons and other family, cherish what you have and yes be safe!

Glad all is well there! I was thinking about all of you. We didn’t lose power and all the animals are safe. James is very well equipped here and the automatic waterers are a Godsend and incredible invention. No freezing water and even the cats have figured out how to access the water after the cows. Ha! James still spends much of the day outside and absolutely loves the hand warmer packs I bought for him. Merry Christmas!

It got all the way up to 37 degrees this afternoon. I finally got my cold water line thawed out! I left it running but, I didn't leave it running enough. Cooking for tomorrow will be much easier now.

Hello Noel we buckeyes here in Ohio are used to snow ❄️ and cold 😶🌫️ but this is over the top ! Makes you stop and be thankful. My thermostat went out last night so it was 55 in the house 🏡 but got it fixed about 4 o’clock this afternoon so it’s up to 62 now .
We are in Indiana, so not too far from you. This storm has been so cold! We have lived here for 16 years and this is the first time we have experienced this type of feel temps. Since Thursday, we have hovered between -30 to -40. The amount of ice inside our window panes and sills is crazy. We even had ice on our front door handle. I love cold and snow, so it makes me happy, but no way are we going out into this. Thankfully, we have a stocked pantry and every thing we need here. We have an attached garage that is finished, and even stepping out there it is so cold. We did get snow, but not as much as they had initially said. It's the bitter cold temps and high winds that are pushing all of our warnings and advisories. My husband walked to get the mail earlier today and said it was beyond freezingly cold. Hope you guys are staying safe and warm and that you have a very special and happy Christmas Eve and Christmas Day tomorrow.
