The system shown in this video is configured for r-value and n-value sheet metal testing and can test 25 specimens per hour, 24 hours per day. It can be configured for nearly any type of material from plastics, to metals, to elastomers. Strain measurement options include the AutoX automatic contacting extensometer or the AVE 2 non-contacting optical extensometer, both of which are capable of measuring transverse and axial strain.
