I've done some binge watching of Peter's channel and have seen his knee down marriage proposal and their tour of the west coast .. now I'm getting links to interviews and some street-level insight into the Ukraine. We all enjoy a good love story .. and Peter and Nana express it well. I'm sorry for the corruption that is involved in the US Foreign Policy that causes people to feel divided, resentful, and afraid. Until we find ourselves .. and realize how much power is in the hands of the common person .. only then will we begin to bring positive change. No one should profit off of war .. it ought to be the most remote idea. Rise above the earth .. and you see no imaginary borders! We need a global love story!!! (Thanks Peter & Nana .. great videos)

Fast forward to July 2023 here in the UK (Great Britain): hundreds of people come here illegally from France on boats every day across the channel from everywhere else in the world (not Europe) and we give them free shelter, food, money and the chance to live here forever as citizens plus their families when they come here afterwards because they tell us they are 'refugees' fleeing from persecution? It's only the young men that come here first though - and most are NOT from warzones.
They also don't like our religion, culture or our way of life so they try to make ours like theirs - or you will suffer the consequences. Germany, Spain, Sweden and Italy has a similar problem. We are too generous, always have been, like our European brothers and sisters.
We are only a small island in the North Sea - but we are drowning under the weight of all the people that want to live here - fiancially and infrastructrually. The UK is only 244,820 sqKilometres or 94,525 sqMiles in landmass but has a poplulation of almost 70 million people!
But if we raise any objections to this - we're labelled xenophobic or racist :(

I married my Ukrainian girlfriend 6 months ago.. :) We have a place in Lviv but live in the states. Something about Ukraine made me immediately take to it. We try and visit Ukraine twice a year now... suppose to be there now but COVID lock down messed that up.

It is a whole lot better than it used to be Peter. My wife is from Zhytomir, I can remember just a few years back Ukrainians weren't allowed to go anywhere without a Visa...I hated seeing that. it's funny cuz I just asked my friend if you wanted to come to the UK to visit England with me just the other day I didn't know that they couldn't go to the UK without a Visa.

If you buy plane tickets from expedia, you can buy "insurance" where you can cancel them for any reason. It doesn't cost too much extra. I tend to get that insurance.

It is exactly the same process for Indians to get a visa to come to the UK even just for a holiday. Actually harder! We don’t hear from the British embassy in 2 weeks like Ukrainians do, it can take 2 months sometimes to find out whether we got a visa or not. Not only that, fees for a British visa is very expensive which means only the rich can afford to visit UK from India. The many Indian staff that you see working in UK,also have a very rigorous interview process to get be allowed in and given a work permit even if one already has a job offer from a company or even if it you already work for a British or European company who is transferring you to work in their UK office , UK immigration does not give visas to Indians easily. Although many Brits seem to think Asians are just coming in easily. Not true!
I once overheard a Brit say that Indian doctors and nurses just come into UK and take all the jobs. Absolutely rubbish! You may see many doctors and nurses from India in UK, guess what most of them are hired in India by NHS and brought to work in UK especially the nurses but they have to pass several entrance exams and doctors often study in the UK for couple of years of post graduate courses even though they are already qualified and may have many years of experience. NHS hires Indian doctors & nurses because of shortage of doctors and nurses. a job transfer from one country to UK . Even so they are hired after extensive interviews and work visas even after getting a job to work in the uk take time

Why would getting a visa be an issue? It's only for a trip. The UK is letting in all these illegals with no ID and not caring. Pleased for your lady. God bless.

I live in America but I'm a Ukrainian citizen. When I was in Ukraine and wanted to fly to London for literally one day... The airline didn't let me fly there because they didn't want to take responsibility. It was very disappointing because I was already at the airport...
I ended up flying to Barcelona instead and really enjoyed it.
