It isn't anymore (and hasn't been for a Long time), so if they're willing to rework Heroes like Gallywix and Mukla, Tirion deserves it to.

Ghoul was an auto grab no matter what comp you had because you could get 2-3 deathrattles and tempo out enough to donkey roll for a bird. Now you have to think.
The way to fix Edwin´s buddy is to make it a "PIRATE" could be very interesting since everyone thinks its garbage
I think either you're underestimating lower mmr's or I'm not so low, because many tempo things you've said could work on lower rank don't work on my 6-7k
That's entirely possible, once the patch has been out for a while I can look at some data and improve my understanding.
Im an 6k casual andy but who watches more than plays the game.
One thing notice is, 6k's almost always underlevel. It doesn't even matter whether it makes us strong or not, we just stay till midgame lol
@@Shadybunny On the subject, it would be very interesting to see you analyse lower mmr games, like the videos you did with top players but to see the errors and ways to improve, I don't know if you considered it ?
@@Juro-ri3nq maybe thats a region thing, eu 6.2k and almost everybody high rolls/high tempo level
I think I heard from jeef that your visual mmr is different from internal mmr so if you’ve played for awhile you actual mmr that’s used for match making may be closer to 8k
In regards to Scabbs getting nerved: The lower the MMR, the lower the average quality of Buddies to steal as well >.>
they nerfed all the good buddies to higher tiers to keep people from using the t5 spell to make it golden and having numerous of the same buddy on the board. they totally killed many heroes from to even be used
Funny to me how all lot of buddies being nerfed around Eyes of the Earth Mother instead of nerfing the spell itself
I was thinking drop BGs since a while but with Buddies the decision was so easy. :/ Playing on 7k MMR and losing and not learning anything is demoralizing for me.
Nerfs are good, but highroll potencial still off the charts...

Hi! How would you see balancing the tier of buddies based on mmr? kinda like they have been doing with armor,
30:47 tbh scabbs is also very dependant on what other heroes are in the lobby. Sure if there's boxcars or nine frogs in the lobby it's broken but if you're getting hero power specific buddies you're just not getting much value out of it. Watfin or vaarden buddy are good examples of buddies that are gonna be a +1 gold (meaning you're gonna sell it) and add no extra value to your board.

I think they could've made Draconic a tier 6 minion, or maybe change it so that it can only target dragons and nagas.

I did not get that change either. I see 0 selfdamage beast builds in top 4 in my games (~8k MMR) or streamer games

I had the luckiest game just now. Golden buddy copy with reborn and golden KT, drakari, golden Baron, and a Ghoul-a-cabra (which turned out to be irrelevant).
My whole board was at a nice 20k/20k at the end. Gallywix with his 500/500 cleave pirate must have been pissing his pants.

Had a Tess game last night turn 4 (2 coins so no sell) - opponent that turn was Sneed... Next turn was Milificent - by turn 8? i think I was able to get a tier 5 unit from a triple and got Baron... - oh and next opponent was silvanas - she helped me make Baron BIG... That game was so silly.

Draconic being removed is so fucking reasonable, because if they would kept it in the game, they would had somehow nerv either the draconic ( which would make absolutely no sense) or play around the battlecry minions somehow. To remove this minion was the ideal solution to the disbalance
Balance wise: Makes sense. Fun wise: Sad, there were so many crazy and unique things to do.
Glad ghoul got a nerf but with the other beast nerfs, and pirate buddy getting nerfed, I’m not even looking at beasts or pirates whatsoever

Will miss my tier 2 or 3 shining sailor + tethys combo. It is so bad to try to get there, but this was literally going truly infinite.
