I’m from avoyelles parish, talked FRENCH as a kid with my great grandmother. Not much since she passed 36 years ago. Keep up the great work and let the culture/music live on
Your voices are pleasing to the ear. I have always thought that Cajun vocalists were just yelling to a tune and didn’t even try to sing with a pleasant quality to their voices but you two are different. Your band has caused me to appreciate cajun music for the first time. Someone posts the lyrics, I look up what the words mean and then I have the song stuck in my head. I can listen to you all day. I also love P’tit Gallop pour Mamou.
What totally amzes me is how you have not been Noticed by an influencer .to share what Not just ME BUT EVERYONE ELSE THE FAMILY TALENTS YOU ALL CLEARLY POSSESS hey I'm from ENGLAND . I APPRECIATE YOU ALL AND HAVE SHATED YOUR CHANNEL . HEY 💎
It is great that these 2 young ladies are keeping the traditional Cajun music going I wish you the best in your music career and I hope you ladies are famous soon
I am a Metal Head since 1982 but during my childhood I used to love country american music back on late 70's and early 80's , anyhow I really like this Louisiana country music , so beautiful and super nice , The other hit you folks play called Tit Gallop it was totally a beautiful version ! congratulations excellent original music and videos , season's greetings from Alaska ( but I am from northen Mexico)
It reminds me of « in the pines, in the pines, where the sun don’t ever shine... » Anyway, bravo la Famille Leblanc, continuez de faire de la bonne musique ! 😉👍🏻

In the pines, in the pines Where the sun never shines. I can no longer see the world What am I going to do? :( It's because of your daddy and your mama, you left me, In the pines, in the pines Where the sun never shines :(
Yep, it's the same melody and basically the same lyrics. It's simply traditional and I'm unable to say which version (FR or EN) was first, no matter. IMO it looks rather French Cajun. BTW, the Leadbelly's version is great...

Typical French girls with that gorgeous glooming tanned skin because of the scorching American sun. I'm same colour (intentional spelling for remembering French heritage in English language). I'm a quarter French too because of my French granny. Vive l'Acadie!

le début de la chanson ressemble a Where Did You Sleep Last Night de Nirvana

What am I going to do? :(

Did these gi get lsd gone to do anything else? Its gmhard to believe that there are only a few tracks by them. It's too good to not have more.
Pourriez-vous écrire les paroles svp ? Je n'arrive pas à tout comprendre.
Et vive les Acadiens, nos frères et sœurs. :-)
is this a Cajun version of Leadbelly's 'In the Pines'?
Yep, it's the same melody and basically the same lyrics.
It's simply traditional and I'm unable to say which version (FR or EN) was first, no matter.
IMO it looks rather French Cajun.
BTW, the Leadbelly's version is great...
