In this performance you can hear how damaged his vocal chords are cause it feels very thin, but compared to later concerts its so good , probably cause his voice is relaxed and he does not strain it a lot , unlike what he does in the more energetic songs . In acoustic songs , he somehow manages to sound beautiful.
Liam’s emotional intelligence is way off the charts and I don’t he gets enough credit. He can’t always articulate it but when he does, it’s so powerful. Noel and others could laugh at the time about “what do you mean Cain and Abel” and Noel can be as snarky as he likes- but this song predicted the end of Noel and Liam, and Noel’s the one who killed them.

Couldn't agree more, Ive been saying that since the 90s. Did you ever hear him on MTV doing Live Forever and Whatever around the end of '94, still gives me chills down the spine. A late reply I know.

thats a fantastic interview with liam....at the end you can clearly see liam respects the interviewer....a rare moment where liam and an interviewer are on the same wavelength and share the same humour....and thats not down to liam, liam is himself in every interview, thats everything to do with the guy, who unlike most hosts, is not up his own arse and is not looking for scandal!

yeah but if you notice, liam never sang "fuck" on tv shows...he only does it on the tours..plus the song is only controversial if the studio recording had it put in...doing it on stage isn't a problem
