She's now writing music I think is as good as Noel's. Maybe someday she'll be heard on a larger scale. But yea, the guitar became an outlet for her. I'd say the same is true for Noel.

My perspective changed a lot when Noel's daughter, in an interview last year, said Noel and Liam talk all the time. That they're not really as estranged as the public thinks.
Which leads me to believe it isn't really a sudden reconciliation and that they've likely talked about playing again as Oasis a lot.
Their solo careers haven't been a tragedy, Liam's voice has gotten amazingly better over the last couple years and the Birds have gotten about as high flying as they're going to get so the inevitable conclusion for two old guys is to do what works.
So much hate out there for them but their fans will fill the seats, regardless of the price and if they don't kill each other in the interim, they will likely clean up and make a bunch of people happy......haters be damned.

I’ve never heard Anais say they spoke a lot, and I followed all of the interviews regarding their fallout.
It was genuine, and it had been in the cards for years in the 00’s.
By the time they split they never spent any time together outside of ‘work’, and had barely anything in common.
I’m a Man City fan and I know they avoided each other at games after they split and have different friends.
Noel even blanked Liam’s son, his nephew, earlier this year, at a club, they don’t really know each other.

From the picture of their dad, I'm going to take a guess, that it was because Noel was the spit of his father looks wise and the father was a self loathing alcoholic. Liam stans are constantly trying to point to him as the kind one but I don't see that. Noel is perhaps more calculated but that's because he's the more intelligent of the two and he knows it. I really think the dynamic is that Liam reminds Noel of his abusive Dad when he starts going off the rails(selfish, reckless behaviour etc), especially when he become abusive and disrespectful towards him. A few more important thing about their dynamic:
Because Liam didn't play any instruments, singing was HIS thing. When Noel started doing more of the singing, Liam was left with nothing. Especially on stage this became a big problem, when he was left with his tambourine like a nobody. This made Liam resentful of Noel.
There's also the jealousy part. Noel was always jealous of Liam because he was cooler, more handsome, great voice and all that. So by putting him down, he made himself feel better (ie fork in the soup thing), which he did constantly and more frequently throughout their Oasis years.
Also, Noel gets more money from the songs because he wrote them, which made Liam jealous. Liam called one of their albums Noel's album in an interview, and Noel responded with "our album". Liam was clearly not happy with Noel being the boss and making all the decisions and making much more money.

In Paris? They broke up on their way to the V-Festival in England, I forget where exactly but I was there. They were due to headline and it'd have been the first time I'd have seen them, despite being born in 85 and growing up a fan in the 90s. Rumours started to spread that they'd pulled out after some dispute, and it was eventually confirmed that they'd split up. I watched Keane instead, who were surprisingly good live. Liam showed up on one of the other co-headliners (MGMT I think) sets, which one of my friends had gone with instead.
Maybe it was framed as them having a dispute on the way to England but splitting up before Paris, but no way - they were set to play on that V-Festival show, and they were finished after. Bloody Paris!

Good video! I was thinking about their upbringing because of 2 recent guardian articles, one said they're the "most damaging uk band" and another was a rebuttal that there's classicism to that statement considering how the gallagher brothers represented the northern working class. It's interesting to examine how oasis seems to be connected in the UK to "football crowds" and laddism with subsequent lgbt-phobia and patriotism and how that's been used to further the bitterness against their reunion. I can agree that they've had their bad moments and indeed the view of noel as the more mature one is something considering how he's very much an old man yelling at cloud when looking at some statements he makes. I have to respect that they refuse to be media trained pr brained celebs like most of their peers. For better or for worse, there's little pretending with them. Also considering how the middle and working class have been largely priced out of the arts, they are very much at the very end of the issues with the entertainment industry. I will always find it damn refreshing to have them with their accents on shows wearing regular clothes and having many people see themselves in their authenticity.

    11:02 because Noel's divorce.
Just my opinion, but Noel went from being in his house with his family to sitting alone in a hotel room. And that's the moment that you start to miss your old familial connections. You're sad, so you think of happier times. You make a phone call... And it's amazing how quickly you remember the great moments you shared.

They didn't want to get out of Manchester as buy they did want to get some money and live in a nicer area (which they did when they moved to didsbury). I grew up in a posh part of Manchester and saw Liam Gallagher multiple times around at bars, this was between around 2000-2014.

I know people don’t like them because of their attitudes, or have some sort of just general dislike to them and maybe even just their music as reasons, but BELIEVE ME also ALOT of people love them! Including myself. Fuck those that can’t just accept it.
They defined a generation in the 90s and their songs are like anthems to people here in the UK. Even now 30 years later they still are relevant to people’s music purchases through streams and vinyls and have continued to bring in a younger audience to this day whom relate to Noel’s songs and lyrics and Liam as a frontman. They have B-sides bands can only dream as having A-sides like songs and have proven that with this reunion tour they are capable of selling out stadiums and people still have a massive interest in the band. Liam has recovered his voice to a good level again through his solo work and Noel still sounds great and is producing great songs through his High Flying Birds band.
They are the reason for bands like The Artic Monkeys, Kasabian and The Courtneers being formed today as a continuation of Uk indie music bands. Whether you like them or not they are icons.
The band still to the day in the UK are beloved and there is huge anticipation for them both being on stage as brothers again. Defining yet another milestone in 2025 Oasis quite simply are still THAT BAND ❤️🎸
