Not only is he a force of nature, he even physically abused AD and any other
bigs' to get close to or go under the rim. Addn'lly you can tell a player have
talent... he hardly uses the bank board, most of his shots are straight on
nothing but net, banks would be the easiest way, but no... he's amazing !!!

Anthony Davis is not chopped liver, he is a quality defender, one of the best. Jokic made him look like a child. No disrespect to AD or anyone else who has the misfortune to TRY to guard Jokic. It is impossible. Good luck double-teaming him, as his teammates merely cut to the basket for easy flushes. He runs the court like a gazelle and never turns the ball over. The guy is amazing, I suspect he is a cyborg from the future, masquerading as a human. Nevertheless, he is a joy to watch. I haven't been this excited with a player since Larry Bird.

Love the Larry Bird comparison. Neither is a crazy athlete, so they have to use their wit and skill to create advantages.

i like the comment really. it happened that i am coming from the same area of ex Yugoslavia but the way he plays is universally exceptional and scary... . i watch some (many :) ) of his actions few times repeatedly ( to enjoy ) and i get surprised every time hahahahahah. amazing really . i play basketball for more than forty five years and i can tell Jokic is something else ...cyborg idea seems to give many answers to his behaviors - simplicity of playing but so machine like efficient , split of a second excellent decisions he is making, ability to anticipate , achieving so much in so few moves....seriously ...cyborg ....not to forget he is not smiling or showing much emotions of any kind . he is something

  • @jonathanikeda8727

Jokic did improve many facets of a basketball player. He keeps polishing on his important offensive factors such as shoot, dribble, pass, rebound, deception, defensive countermeasures, strategy innovation and basketball psychology; and on his defensive factors such as rebound, reading the movements, studying the weaknesses of players, developing sneakiness, and others. He does understand how the chemistry works, how the player trust bond works and how important his life other than basketball is. He just played every game with simplicity, concentration and tranquility like chess. He prefer to live in the simple life with his family.

I was playing B-ball today, and was trying to play like him, watching the defender's body language a lot. It was fun. I snuck in a lot of tight passes because the defenders had their backs turned for a second.

O mais legal em Jokic é que ele não quer impressionar ninguém, ele não quer jogar bonito, ele quer ganhar o jogo.

It's because he doesn't care that he's so good. Too many basketball players care about their own scoring. They fail to see the gaps, the people who are wide open, and then make stupid, selfish decisions. They don't play as a team.

NJ purposely slows down the game to observe the chess board in front of him and then he exploits it like a savage. If Stephan A whoever doesn't like it then change the rules which seems impossible. Showtime died in the '80's and they don't allow those kind of travelling violations anymore.

I feel like this is a second iteration of Larry Bird. Theres a lot of praise for his passing, playmaking, and basketball IQ. These are a lot of things that i know Bird was a legend for.
It almost feels like a second coming reminiscent of that from Jordan -> Kobe.
With his insane stature that hes using to bully players like AD and Lebron, im actually excited to see where his career goes.

In the last game of the Finals, when the good Joker was on the bench with foul trouble late in the game, his teammates played great while he was on the bench.
That was his impact on that team.
On that Nuggets team, a few players might get HOF stats, in any given playoff game.
Youth coaches have a fine example.
    Sharing is fun.

    • @CoachZenith
      @CoachZenith  ปีที่แล้ว +1

At best, that’s an anecdote, which is truly an anomaly when you consider what he’s done in his career so far. Pay attention to how his teammates react to him. They love the guy. Every champion needs good teammates but Joker is the best player on that team.

I'm not sure the analogy holds much, except, of course, for the nationality. Has there ever been a more athletic tennis player than Djokovic? The speed and the otherworldly flexibility. That's not exactly Jokic. And it's hard to translate from the one sport to another what Jokic does: the uncanny blind passes; the touch on floaters; the pirouetting in the post. I will grant them both this: they are the best and the coolest in the the clutch.

NBA better hurry up and change some things. the no defense, high flying, mindless offense they have been selling for the past 25ish years has been exposed. Not saying the Spurs didnt run a true strategy... just that they were the last ones. When you run against thinkers instead of Shrews... you will always lose
